This lovely flat is located close to great transport links, Canary Wharf, shops and restaurants. The flat is located in a modern and secure residential building on the first floor. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lovely open plan kitchen, dining and living room and balcony which looks onto Millwall Dock. This would be a perfect place for up to 4 people looking for a relaxing place to stay which is still easily accessible to Central London.
The flat itself is decorated with minimalist, warm design with a touch of Japan (one of our favourite countries) and exudes warmth. The building has a 24/7 concierge and a winter as well as outdoor garden which you would have access to.
This is our home and as such you will find many of our personal items here - we ask that you treat our home with the respect that you would treat your own place!
LIVING AREA / KITCHEN / DINING AREA
This room is wonderfully light thanks to the floor to ceiling windows which look out onto the water, which creates and relaxed and peaceful atmosphere.
The kitchen has everything that you would need during your stay if you fancy staying in one night and cooking a delicious meal. There are a range of cooking utensils, pots and pans, plates, cutlery and glasses.
The wooden dining table has two benches which easily seats 4 people.
The living area has a comfortable sofa which is perfect for relaxing on after a long day out exploring what London has to offer. You will also be able to gain access out onto the balcony from here. There is another seating area out here which is a perfect place to sit and have your morning coffee. You will be able to watch the ducks, swans, sea gulls and sometimes, a seal (the famous "Hungry Sammy").
The master bedroom has a king size bed whilst the second bedroom has a small double bed. All beds will be spotlessly made up using hotel quality linen. I will also make sure to clear some space in the wardrobes for you to be able to hang your clothes up and store your belongings neatly away.
The main bathroom has a bath with a shower attachment, toilet and sink. The en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom has a large walk in shower, toilet and sink. Large fluffy white towels and toiletries will be provided for every guest.
Guests have complete access to the flat. Additionally I’ve arranged for a concierge service to be available to you throughout your stay, providing you with free on-demand support for booking restaurants, tickets to shows, transport...or anything else you might fancy! You can also book additional housekeeping services like regular cleans or changes of bed linen. I hope that this will help you get even more out of your stay. Interaction with Guests:
When I’m not there, you will be hosted by a professional hospitality company who I’ve engaged to look after you in my absence. They are on call to attend to your every need, as I would be.
The Isle of Dogs contains one of London’s two financial nerve centres, but the neighbourhood is more than high stakes and higher buildings. Although everyone recognises this east London locale for the business acumen it displays at Canary Wharf, the Isle of Dogs offers diversions that go beyond power lunches. The neighborhood’s maritime mentality, casual pubs and cafes, and narrow brick townhomes lend it a character that surpasses the expectations of a typical 9-to-5 neighbourhood.
The famous O2 entertainment complex, which hosts many famous artist concerts is just a 20 minutes away. The O2 arena can also be seen from the living room and bedroom.
This flat is in a fantastic location in terms of being able to get around London quickly and easily. South Quay is the closest tube station, which is just a 5 minute walk away. This station has connections to the DLR. Canary Wharf station is a 12 minute walk away, this station also has connections to the DLR and the Jubilee line.
If you would prefer to travel around London via bus there are a number of bus stops along Marsh Wall.
