La Crucita Recommended

We enjoyed a pleasant stay at Alberto's property in early April. Alberto was extremely helpful. The property was very well situated for the airport, Los Cancajos and Santa Cruz. There is a well stocked small supermarket and a good restaurant within 10 minutes' walk. La Crucita enjoys a lovely sea view and has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. The property is surrounded by a patio which is an excellent observing site for astronomers having a good sky view. Outside seating is provided and also a wind shield to the front of the property for any chilly nights. As we travelled in the spring we used the efficient wood burning stove and were warm as toast. We have just re-booked for next spring.

Great place

This is a lovely villa in a working village only minutes from the capital and the airport. There are stunning views of the ocean and the mountains and the all round terrace means you can follow the sun or the shade all day long. There is a restaurant and a small supermarket within walking distance.

The house was immaculate when we arrived and much of the equipment and accessories appeared to be brand new.

The owner, Alberto, could not have been more helpful or attentive. We would be more than happy to stay there again.

Perfect location to explore the island

We enjoyed our stay in Alberto’s house. It is clean, well equipped with everything you need and located in a very quiet area. Supermarket is nearby, restaurants in Santa Cruz.

Een heel fijn huis

We hebben het met 2 personen heel fijn gehad in het comfortabele, luxe en gezellige huis. Het uitzicht is geweldig en de lokatie centraal. De bedden zijn prima. We hebben lekker geslapen. Het huis was schoon en netjes. Op de veranda rondom het huis is altijd een plekje te vinden om in de zon en uit de wind te zitten. We hebben genoten van de avocado's, citroenen en sinaasappelen uit de tuin.Tijdens ons verblijf was het koud. We moesten de kachel stoken om het warm te krijgen of in de keuken zitten. Een apart kacheltje zou fijn geweest zijn. Ook misten we een lampje boven de kookplaat. En oh ja wij als Nederlanders moesten naar Duitse tv kijken ;).

Farmhouse amid vineyards and orchards. Excellent views of the mountains and the sea. You can see the sun from sunrise until hidden behind the mountains. We have binoculars to puedaddisfrutar the sights and the night sky. His heaven is protected by law in light pollution.

A 7 minute drive from the island of La Palma and the beach of Cancajos. 10 minutes from the island's capital, Santa Cruz de La Palma. Pharmacy and supermarket to 5 minutes. They begin around many paths that cross the island. Excellent communications with bus throughout the island.
