Stylish 2BR flat with a garden, near Hackney! - Two Bedroom Apartment, Sleeps 4

Bedrooms 2
Property type apartment
Minimum Stay 1 - 4 nights

About the property

Two Bedroom Apartment, Sleeps 4

This beautiful property is located close to brilliant restaurants, public transport links and open green spaces. This split level apartment has 2 double bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, open plan living and dining room and a garden. This would be a perfect place for up to 4 people looking to be situated in a quieter neighbourhood which is still easily accessible to central London.

The Space:

My home is located on a quiet residential street on the first and second floors of a traditional property. There is a strong wifi connection throughout which will guarantee a happy and comfortable stay.

This is my home and as such you will find many of my personal items here - I ask that you treat my home with the respect that you would treat your own place!

The living and dining room is filled with natural light thanks to the large sash windows. There is a comfortable sofa and two leather chairs which are perfect for relaxing on after a long day out exploring what London has to offer. The TV is a smart TV so you will not be stuck finding something to watch.

The dining table seats three people comfortably and is a great place to have your breakfast in the morning.

The kitchen looks out onto the terrace and garden. On a warm sunny day it is lovely to be able to open the door leading out to the terrace and let the fresh air in. There is everything that you would need during your stay if you fancy staying in one night and cooking a delicious meal. There are a range of pots and pans, plates, cutlery and glasses.

Both of the bedrooms have sumptuous double beds which will be spotlessly made up using white hotel quality linen. In the master bedroom I will clear a space in the wardrobe for you to be able to hang your clothes up and store your belongs neatly away. Whilst in the second bedroom there is a rail with hangers and a chest of drawers.

The bathroom has a bath with a shower attachment, toilet and sink. Large fluffy white towels and toiletries will be provided for every guest.

Guest Access:

Guests have complete access to the flat. Additionally I’ve arranged for a concierge service to be available to you throughout your stay, providing you with free on-demand support for booking restaurants, tickets to shows, transport...or anything else you might fancy! You can also book additional housekeeping services like regular cleans or changes of bed linen. I hope that this will help you get even more out of your stay. Full details will be provided at check-in.

Interaction with Guests:

When I’m not there, you will be hosted by a professional hospitality company who I’ve engaged to look after you in my absence. They are on call to attend to your every need, as I would be.

The Neighborhood:

Stoke Newington is an old boho neighbourhood full of good places to eat, drink and shop. The high street has several small supermarkets, a bookstore and a toy store. Church Street, which intersects it, is more chichi, with homewares, boutiques, a couple of children’s clothing stores and lots of cafes. Some highlights include:

-Jaines and Son: Exquisite fish

-Borough Wines: Fashionable wine shop

-Meat N16: High-quality butcher plus good deli items and wine, can be very busy

-Whole Foods: Organic supermarket

-Newington Green Vegetables: Amazing selection, good value

-Gallo Nero: Excellent family-run Italian deli

-Akdeniz: The best among the area’s terrific Turkish grocers, always open. Their bakery two doors down sells Turkish and sourdough bread, baklava, Portuguese tarts and more.

-The Bagel House: Old-style East End bakery

-Farmers Market: Every Saturday from 10 - 2

-Cuckoo Wines: Friendly neighbourhood off licence with good advice and selection

Also Clissold Park, Hackney Downs (both have playgrounds and Clissold has a paddle pool in summer and tiny zoo) and Abney Park, one of London’s most picturesque cemeteries.

Restaurants There are many, but some of my favourites are

-Escocesa: Modern Catalan seafood

-The Shakespeare: Favourite pub. No food, but you can bring in pizza from next door. Children welcome until 7pm

-Fingers Crossed: Nice Kiwi café close by

-Lardo Bebe: Inventive pizza in attractive setting, welcomes families

-Londesborough: Roast pub lunch, a British Sunday ritual. Phone ahead for table.

-The Haberdashery: a good cafe with excellent coffee and fine breakfast. On High St, near the intersection with Church St.

Hipster heaven, with bars, restaurants, and nightclubs and a famous East London street market on Ridley Road. Try Dalston Curve, a large enclosed community garden where you can get a snack or a beer and children can play; Oto, a live music venue and café run by a Japanese/ German couple; Gujurati Rasoi for modern Indian; and art deco neighbourhood cinema, The Rio. (15 minute walk south on Stoke Newington High Street or 5 mins by frequent bus. Keep heading south to reach Haggerston, Shoreditch.)

London Fields, Broadway Market

Park popular with picnickers with pretty lido in heart of pleasant

Getting Around:

The nearest station is Rectory Road which is connected to the London Overground network and is a 3 minute walk away.

If you would refer to travel around London via bus there are a number of bus stops along Stoke Newington High Street.

Other Things to Note:

Please note: our standard check in times are between 3pm - 10pm. Check out is by 10am. If you wish to check in or check out outside these hours please let us know. This is subject to availability and a fee.
