About James Logan

Hi, I'm James and this is my wife Ayako. We have two kids aged 12 and 14. I was born in Kent, grew up in London, worked in Japan for over 20 years and moved back to the UK in 2012. I've sailed a lot over the years but recently do mostly long walks around the UK and around Bridge. We enjoy camping and staying in other people's holiday lets in the UK and France. I used to spend 14 hours a day in a suit but now I'm either digging, planting or painting a wall !

James Logan purchased this house in 2015

Beautiful cottage, Warm hospitality!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed wonderful weekend at Walnut Tree Cottage. Cottage was super equipped, comfortable and clean with beautiful garden. It is hard to imagine the building itself was originally built in the 1870's as the village school house.

The owner of the cottage (Mr. James and his wife) was very kind and helpful. After staying, my family is feeling the cottage like new "Home" in UK.

The location was good as well. We traveled from Belgium using Eurotonnel and it was very convenient. We spent one day in London and it was an easy access. Nice park and tennis court were near by and my kids loved those.

All my family made such a very good memory there. We will definately come back to this nice cottage again.

A gem of a cottage!!

  • 5 of 5

From arrival to the day we left we loved staying at Walnut Tree Cottage. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need, and with plenty of space for a family. The garden is a huge, peaceful oasis which we and our dog loved. It was fully enclosed, and so to open the back door and allow our dog to run free in the sunshine was wonderful. The hosts, James and his wife were very helpful, friendly and responded to any queries. The village of Bridge is a very sweet little place, with great pubs, and friendly locals and is extremely handy for visiting Canterbury with all it’s treasures. I visited with my teenage children and they thorough enjoyed exploring the city. Thank you James for our lovely stay, I hope to return soon!

Beautiful Cottage, great location!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage in a great location. We stayed for one night, but will definitely go again, and for longer. The village location is great, close to loads of great places to visit across Kent, and closer than you think from London. The property is beautifully presented with huge garden with gate through to open fields which our dog loved. The cottage is great, our hosts were lovely, I would highly recommend staying, it’s lovely!

Fantastische woning, mooi gelegen met grote tuin.

  • 5 of 5
