This is a beautiful 3 double bedroom apartment sleeping 6 on the ground floor of a large Georgian house. It has the most amazing 110 ft garden (one of the biggest you will see in London) for your enjoyment especially in the summer months.

The apartment provides spacious self-catering with all the mod cons you could ever need.

Bedrooms are set out as follows:

Master Bedroom with Four Poster Bed and En-Suite Shower Room with WC, Bedroom 2 with Double Bed and shared use of Family Bathroom,

Bedroom 3 with Double Bed and shared use of Family Bathroom.

Kitchen with all mod cons including fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven, microwave, hob, extractor fan (no dishwasher). Kitchen is furnished with a comprehensive range of crockery, cutlery and utensils to ensure and comfortable stay in your 'home from home'.

Dining area has large table with comfortable seating for 6 and the sitting room has TV and DVD and is arranged with 2 sofas and chairs for 8.

There is so much to do in London where do you start?

The local area has wonderful walks on Hampstead Heath and abundant shopping too. Wonderful Restaurants and cafes in all parts of Hampstead and Camden if you want to stay local, or you are only minutes from the Tube and 5 stops to Baker Street. London Zoo is close too.

From Kilburn (Jubilee Line) you are in Central London in 15 minutes (Bond Street) where you will find every attraction you can ever need.

Attractions such as Madame Tussauds, The Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, The London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, West End Theatres, Westfield Shopping Centre (10-15 minutes by car), Bond Street, Oxford Street, Notting Hill, Ladbroke Grove, Wembley Stadium 4 stops on the Tube, The V & A Museum, The Science Museum, The Tate & Tate Modern, The National Portrait Gallery, etc., etc.

Our Guide Book will help for further inspiration! It will take ages to do it all but everywhere is accessible from this apartment and you can enjoy the lovely peaceful garden too!

Wembley Stadium is a 10 minute train journey to see all the sport you can watch and for concerts also, very local and convenient. The O2 Stadium and the Olympic Park are all just one train journey away, you can go directly from Kilburn Tube Station (3-5 minute walk) to Stratford and the O2, no changes necessary!

There are fantastic walks nearby:- Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Regents Park, Hampstead Heath as well as all the other London parks and walks by the river.

Why Caroline Greengrow chose Brondesbury

This property was originally my home in my twenties but then came the large family and much living and travelling abroad.

I came to notice that many holiday rentals can be sparse in furniture and comfort which is not something I personally enjoy when I am on holiday, so I was determined in changing this apartment to a holiday rental, it would be anything but.

I want you to feel that you will come and enjoy this property if you want a little bit more than a place to rest your head at night after a busy day out in London. I want you to be comfortable and feel well rested and looked after on your return home, feeling that all your needs were catered for and we thought of every detail.

The amazing location of this property gives you the perfect balance of proximity to Central London but in a leafy suburb where the birds sing in the trees when you get home from a crazy day sight-seeing. There are not many places that can say the same, or offer our amazing garden for your enjoyment when spending some quiet time at home.

What makes this apartment unique

This is a lovely location because you really feel like you are in a quiet leafy suburb and yet you are a 5 minute walk from the station that will take you in 4 stops to Bond Street and the centre of everything that London has to offer!

People never cease to be amazed at how well-located it is, don't be fooled by the fact that it lists in the automated system on this site as near Wembley because it is closer to Oxford Street and Piccadilly Circus than there!

The garden here in the summer is amazing. You can 'Wow' yourself with sight-seeing in the city during the day and come back for a lovely BBQ in the evening. A garden this size in Central London is very rare, please enjoy and make the most of it!

Harry Potter World is now a short train ride or a car drive from here so you can enjoy a mixed variety of touristy pursuits and Wembley is close too for sport and music events. The far end of the Jubilee line will also take you directly to the O2 Venue so you can sit on the train from Kilburn all the way to there without getting off once!

It is also very close to Paddington Station where the Heathrow Express comes in, so once you are off the train from the airport, a 10 minute Taxi drive will have you at the door!

The many parks close by: Queens Park, Hampstead Heath, Regents Park, Gladstone Park, make it a lovely place for summer walks also, as well as having all the wealth of the excitement of London at your fingertips!

  • The master bedroom with the en-suite shower room (and toilet) has a beautiful four poster bed in it, with fitted cupboards and plenty of storage for your stay. The second double bedroom has a double bed and again plenty of cupboard space and overlooks the lovely garden in the back. The third bedroom is also a double room with a double bed in. These two rooms share the use of the family bathroom which has a bath with shower so you can choose which you prefer.

Notes:
The garden is for the sole use of our apartment so is completely private. All the surrounding houses have to share theirs with the other flats, so we are very lucky to have a private garden! There is wheelchair access at Kilburn Station which is an added benefit to guests but there are about 15 steps to the flat, so access for a wheelchair makes this property probably not the best choice for disabled guests.

Lovely quiet location good size

Well equipped and well located. We went to a concert at Wembley stadium, but also easy to get into central London as well. Beautiful garden to sit

Great location although ready for a refresh

You cannot beat the location, excellent for a stay in London. The apartment was fine for our stay , a little small for 5 people and not having a dish washer is a surprise in a luxuary apartment. The interior and decorations are now beginning to look a little tired and ready for a make over. The garden was a good size just not inviting and patio area needs cleaning of the scrap from the apartment.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. It had all the essentials - nice beds, room to unpack our bags, and a kitchen that we could make a few meals in. It even had a backyard and a little area where we could eat our breakfast outside. Most importantly, it was just a short walk to get to the tube. The tube easily took us to most of the sights in London - most of the sights were just 20 to 40 minutes away using the tube. A small grocery store (it had all the essentials) was just a short 5 to 10 minute walk away. There were also restaurants in the area. This apartment made our stay in London very nice.

Comfortable, convenient oasis in hot and busy London

This flat was exactly as described and its 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were perfect for me, my daughter and twin 9 year old grandsons. It is large and roomy and the large garden was an added bonus. The flat was well equipped with everything we needed. About the only thing missing was a clothes dryer but a clothes line in the garden worked well. Although the temperature in London was around 30C (85F), the flat stayed comfortably cool and the dehumidifier kept the humidity down.

The location was great - a 5 minute walk from an underground station and from Kilburn Road which has a number of shops and restaurants., including a Tesco and a Sainsbury. A laundromat a couple of blocks down the road served well to dry out a couple of pairs of kids shoes that got soaked in a brief but intense downpour. There is a pub along the same road and a great little Italian restaurant - Small and Beautiful - that is very family friendly, affordable and serves great food. The tube ride to central London is about a half hour on the Jubilee Line.

All in all a great place for a family stay in London. Thanks Caroline!

Very nice place to stay. Convenient to transportation (buses and the trains) as well as to amenities such as grocery stores and restaurants which are all within a short walk. Well maintained property. Comfortable beds and good working appliances. Would consider to stay there again.

Perfect for our family of 6.

Our 3 days in London were wonderful and the flat worked well for our needs. We are a family of 6, so finding accommodations can be tricky and expensive. We arrived easily on Saturday afternoon via Heathrow Express and then a taxi from Paddington Station. The flat was clean and well kept. The tube station is a short walk, so we had easy access to any location. We also used Uber a few times, which worked out well, too. Thank you for a lovely time in London.

This Apartment is on a wonderfully quiet tree lined street in a leafy suburb of London.This area is more like a village than you would think being so close to the heart of London.Transport links are great wherever you want to travel. The Tube station is a very short walk (Kilburn Jubilee Line - Straight to Bond Street in Central London (4 Stops), a straight journey on one line to Stratford City and the 02 Venue and very convenient for anywhere you want to go. The start of the M1 motorway is 4kms away. This is the perfect apartment for families as young children will love the garden and BBQ's in good weather are a delight for all! Make the most of the garden if you can, gardens the size of this one are very rare in London so you have Central London on your doorstep as well as a lovely garden - the very best of both worlds!

The local High Street - Kilburn High Road, has a Sainsburys walking distance and has late night shops and many restaurants,Bars,Pubs and Cafes. West Hampstead (2Km) is full of lovely eateries and bars too. Hampstead itself (2 miles) is a wonderful village in the heart of London, with all the shops, restaurants, bars etc etc you could ever wish to find and right next to the lovely Hampstead Heath which is a gorgeous green parkland for kite flying, picnics, walks, and amazing views over London. This glamorous part of London is the home of many famous people so it is not unusual to pass Gwyneth Paltrow or Chris Martin out for a stroll on Primrose Hill which is also close and the views of London are amazing there as well. Notting Hill is also a short drive by car and Queens Park is walking distance and a lovely place for young children to enjoy the park and play facilities.

This area is close to many other wonderful areas: Just a short journey to Regents Park (London Zoo),Highgate, Hampstead, Notting Hill, Edgeware Road, Primrose Hill, Camden Market, Westfield Shopping Centre, Kensington, Knightsbridge, Oxford Street to name a few. Wembley Stadium if you have any planned trips there is only 4 stops on the train going Northwards so the location is perfect for so many different plans you may have.

For somewhere lovely to stay in London,this is the place to be! Enjoy the lovely garden in a quiet part of town away from busy streets further into town, yet close to everything!

Other Activities: Hampstead Heath, Queens Park, Regents Park, Tricycle Theatre, Camden Arts Centre, O2 Centre (Cinema and Restaurants) Finchley Road, Screen on the Hill and Screen on the Green Cinemas, Saatchi Gallery, Lords Cricket Ground, Wembley Stadium and many others. If you fancy a little amble on the Underground, you can sit on the train all the way from Kilburn Station to Westfield Shopping Centre at Stratford City and happily pass away many an hour in there!

Golf: Hampstead Golf Course is a great course and only 5 kms away. There are many golf Academys in the area - the best is probably the Holland Park Golf Academy which is only 3 kms away!

Head into the centre of London and you will have everything you have ever dreamt of at your fingertips. A four station stop from Kilburn (500m down the road) on the Jubilee Line will take you to Bond Street and from there you can walk to many different places to enjoy the food, the shopping and the ambiance of London. Regents Street is worth a slow stroll to enjoy the wonderful Libertys building (and the shop as well), Hamley's, The Apple Store and many others. Round the back of Libertys is Carnaby Street which is full of fun trendy shops and down towards Piccadilly Circus (M and M World and the Trocadero Centre), is Shaftesbury Avenue (all the theatres around here), Covent Garden, Soho, Chinatown and Leicester Square. For sightseeing in the centre don't forget to check out Buckingham Palace, Pall Mall, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Harrods, Selfridges, Princess Diana Memorial, Serpentine Gallery, Chelsea, Kings Road..........the list is almost endless.

There is so much to enjoy in London it is hard to give you a flavour of all that is available but whatever you enjoy is here. Museums such as: The V & A, The Science, Imperial War, Natural History, Geffrye, The Wallace Collection, are all worth a visit and so are the many shows on at the moment: Matilda, Stomp, Les Miserables, The Lion King are some of the top ones at the moment and a fantastic experience.

You will never run out of things to do in London and if you do, give us a ring, we will fill you full of new ideas!

As an aside, if you are tempted to drive to come here but perhaps may not want to use your car for the rest of your stay, there is a wonderful website (independent of here) called www.parkatmyhouse.co.uk. You can park your car at a close location for the duration of your stay and need not worry about it again!

If you fancy getting out of town for the day, a short train ride away from London will take you to the new Harry Potter World in Watford for HP fans
