This three bedroom, two bathroom cabin on Indian Bay is quiet and secluded on a forested, lakefront lot. This cabin sleeps six comfortably in beds, with plenty of room for sleeping bags in the living room if need be. Roast hotdogs or s'mores in the fire pit while watching the sun set on the lake. An on site washer/dryer will ensure that you do not spend your vacation at a laundry mat! There is a propane bbq for guest use on the custom deck overlooking the lake. Guests can enjoy sitting on the dock while watching the eagles soar and fish. While away the day suntanning, swimming, and playing on the gravel beach or grassy lawn. Hike along Rocky Point or one of the numerous hiking trails in the Mission Mountains, or visit Kerr Dam on the Flathead River. The cabin has plenty of games and puzzles to occupy guests during inclement weather. Wifi will ensure that guests stay connected during their stay.

Scenic Lakefront house
We stayed here in Aug. of 2018 for our 25 year wedding Anniversary, it was very clean, cozy and comfortable. Loved going to the pebble "beach" and just watching nature!! Thank You Sherri and Marty
Beautiful private quiet bay. Lake is gorgeous. Kids loved jumping off the dock.
We loved staying here. Access to the lake was amazing, views were perfect and the dock was our favourite place to hang out. Will definitely come back!
Great home on the lake
Really enjoyed our stay, first time at Flathead lake. Loved the cabin, just the feel we were hoping for. Property manager was easy to work with! Will stay again next year.
Great location with awesome views.
The house had everything we needed except for a good cleaning. Dust bunnies were in all corners, and the carpet was badly soiled. The main deck screen door was bent beyond use. The master suite sliding door blind was missing, and the en-suite toilet fill valve whistled so loud we had to turn off the water supply. We notified the mgmt. numerous times to make sure we were not charged for these damages. Their response was "these items will be repaired AFTER you leave." If they were corrected prior to our arrival, our rating would have been 5 stars.
I've spent my entire life coming to this lake (we have a family cabin in the same bay) so was pleased to find this rental nearby, although my opinion of it was mixed.
The cabin: very typical of lake cabins I grew up with. It's a great space, with a mix of older furniture, old towels and bedding, etc. but it has a comfortable vibe and plenty of space for six. However, it could use a serious deep clean and a better clean inside and out between rentals. The property manager said she will try a different agency. Also, a few more amenities would be appreciated such as a big basket of beach towels (there are none), a sturdy tilting deck umbrella, a bedroom shade on the master bedroom (exposed to all), a few inexpensive floaties and a couple of new good quality lounge chairs by the beach (the two there are falling apart and will cover you in foam). The green grass lawn in the photos is dead brown stubble now, by the way. Not a problem for us, but it might be a disappointment if you had youngsters. The preparation of the space for us, the renters, in comparison to the many other places I've rented, did not necessarily say 'welcome!'
The lake: I love this big lake but be aware that you may get swimmer's itch while swimming (rinse off and towel off vigorously after swimming and bring anti-itch cream), and at this particular place the dock is not set up for motor boats (too small and not enough tie-ups, plus on this lake you cannot leave your boat in the water overnight). There is plenty of shore space to pull up canoes, and other light craft, but do pull them way up overnight. The dock ladder is unusable, so water shoes will make entering and leaving the rocky shore more comfortable. There is a nice large fire pit but fires were not permitted and likely will not be permitted the rest of the summer due to dry conditions and forest fires. It's a $500 fine.
I had some difficulty with communication with the property manager, especially getting the code to enter the property, but when contact was established it was pleasant and helpful.
All in all, with somewhat lowered expectations, I would recommend this place.
This place had all the amenities as described. We loaded up with groceries and cooked for a week! We had a campfire in the huge fire pit and had smores after swimming. The lake water was clean and inviting. Lots of books to look over/read.
We don't have a boat or jet skis so if you plan on bringing either, be aware that the dock is not really equipped for that.
There is internet access, but the download was only around 3 meg due to the distance from the node. Good enough to check email and watch cartoons on a Roku stick.
We'll most likely be staying here next year!
