Little Badworthy is a delightful one bedroom cottage situated in an ideal location for exploring the rugged open moorland of the Dartmoor National Park and the beautiful South West coastline all of which are within easy reach. Our cottage is well equipped to make your stay as relaxed as possible, there is a garden for guests to enjoy where you will see our own chickens and Call Ducks Jemima and Lucky! The lounge/diner has a wood burning stove, kitchen with washing machine, cooker, fridge and all the utensils you need. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, washbasin with light and shaving point over and WC. The double bedroom has lovely views over the surrounding countryside and over our farmland.
Guests will be able to enjoy numerous walks from the cottage (printed maps and routes are available in the visitor guide book) and we are always happy to help with directions if needed. Although we are a working farm, we are happy to accept small well behaved dogs, but ask that they be kept on a lead whilst outside of the cottage.
The local village of South Brent offers a good selection of day to day shops whilst the towns of Totnes, Ashburton and Ivybridge some 20 minutes drive away offer a much wider variety of retail outlets. Our beautiful South West coastline has some wonderful award winning beaches. There are a number of good pubs close by offering home cooked fare and local ales, ciders and wine.
This truly is a great destination to explore all that Dartmoor and the South Hams has to offer and only 15 minutes from the A38 Devon Expressway
