A small ancient house carved out of a carefully restored Roman-medieval tower trunk, with oak-paneled ceilings from a few centuries ago. The furniture is antique and rustic, cozy and well-kept: there is a large fireplace in travertine and oak, thick walls with large blocks of stone, old peasant sideways, hand-made terracotta floors. La Torretta overlooks a stone-paved terrace shaded by a stone, with a jasmine-covered banister and a grand view of the valley.
An exposed chestnut staircase leads to the upper floor where, under a pitched roof in beams, there are two bedrooms, one of which has a great view of the valley.
The Castellano and La Torretta are two adjacent and separate houses, which once were part of a single building consisting of a small monastery and a lookout tower overlooking the valley. The two houses, one larger and one smaller, have large outdoor areas dedicated; in common, a garden of about one hectare, a panoramic terrace, the orchard, the vineyard and the vegetable garden, a pizza oven with barbecue, a soccer field.
Birds of all species and small wild animals (such as foxes, squirrels and dormice) populate the area always cultivated with ecological systems.
I will be there to welcome you, and I will be happy to suggest itineraries, places to eat and have fun, to make you live a truly unforgettable holiday.
