About Catherine O'Donoghue
Hi, my name is Catherine and I have been living in this lovely town of Killorglin for over 30 years. The slow pace of life here is so relaxing and yet there is so much to do. I love hill walking in the surrounding countryside where we are surrounded by magnificent scenery. I am so lucky to be located within an hour's drive of Dingle (1 hour), Killarney (20 mins), Kenmare (1 hour).
Catherine O'Donoghue purchased this House in 2017

What a wonderful place!!
I want to thank Eddie and Catherine for letting us stay at there wonderful house. We had an amazing couple of days. This house is in the perfect location for anyone who is wanting to explore Dingle and Kerry area. Thank you for leaving information about the area for places to eat and things to do. We also would like to say your neighbors car is super sweet, she was really funny. Thank you so much.
Thanks Kaydee. Delighted to have you as guests. We are always happy when our guests have fun and enjoy their stay at our home.

Beautiful place in a great location!
Good recommendations for eateries from our host in the local area and fabulous accommodations made this a fantastic couple days. Right on the Ring of Kerry which was worth the drive.
Loved this place!
Our family agreed that this was the place that we liked the best--by far--in our 18-day trip. It was CLEAN, it was quiet, it was convenient, it was BEAUTIFUL, looking out the back deck at the river right in front of us and the cloud-misted mountains in the background.
Catherine, the host, was so easy to work with. She left us some goodies, which delighted our teens (as did the WiFi!). We walked to Kilorglin center to take part in the Puck Festival, which was a complete and unscheduled surprise for us.
We took day trips to the Cliffs of Moher, the Dingle Pennisula, Cobh and Cork City, Kinsale, and my ancestors home in County Cork.
I need to say that the combined washer/dryer was a bit of an issue in that the dryer took FOREVER (like hours!) and it was quite small. But it got the clothes clean, and, eventually, dry. Just be forewarned and don't wait until the last night to use it as you'll need a lot of extra time to dry the clothes.
There were no bad surprises, only nice ones (like how pretty it was, the cookies, etc.).
I would highly recommend this property.
Very happy with this location. Just like the photos
Thanks Tiffanny. Hope you enjoyed your stay.
Wonderful home to stay in!
We had a wonderful time and want to thank Catherine and Eddie for sharing their vacation home. Loved the river views and the outside dining area. It was very hot when we stayed and our hosts were very helpful. Adorable little town to spend time in!
Wonderful home away from home
Catherine was a delight to work with. She was very responsive to my questions and there were lots of personal touches in the home as well...like fresh flowers on the coffee table and breakfast staples in the fridge! The home is immaculate and well appointed. Plenty of towels and extra blankets and pillows and kitchen necessities. It was cool in the morning so we didn’t use the patio, but there’s a grill there with instructions on how to use it. Killorglin was a cute town very well situated...right on the Ring of Kerry and convenient to the Dingle Peninsula. There were lots of tourist brochures in the unit as well. We would absolutely stay here again.
