Fantastic penthouse beach front 2 BR sleeps 6, 2 BA, sea view, lift

Mi Capricho: Situated in Calahonda's most attractive holiday complex, this penthouse (5th floor with lift) has everything for the perfect holiday. Luxury furnished inside and out. There is a large terrace (80 M2) with stairs leading to a roof solarium (75 M2), both boasting magnificent sea views. During the summer months there is the added benefit of a pool bar. Close to all amenities therefore car hire is not essential. Beautiful, very well maintained tropical gardens, 24 hours security, lift from the underground parking space and directly to the apartment.

There are 4 swimming pools, 2 for kids and 2 for more grown ups. In peak season, lifeguards watches the pools. The largest pool, 120 feet long, meanders right by the sea. Very friendly and pleasant environment for all kind of people. There is a playground for kids in the pool area, paths for wheel chair users and other facilities making this the perfect resort for a relaxing holiday.

Attractions: Aqua Park in Torremolinos, 15 minutes drive

Funny beach, Marbella, 10 minutes drive

Ronda, wonderful village in the mountains considered the bullfighting point of origin. (50 minutes drive)

I was in Calahonda first time in 1992 playing golf for the first time. I really enjoyed the area and have revisited Costa del Sol yearly since then both as a golfer but also for relaxing/holiday with family.

When the opportunity came to buy my own property in Spain I was looking at 75 objects.I was living @ Mi Capricho during one of these stays and found out it had all I was looking for. I brought my wife and kids down here and they loved it too. So for us, this is the best family resort ever visited.

Magnificent penthouse apartment

Several long stays to this magnificent apartment with views over the Mediterranean. Anything a holidaymaker would require is within this apartment. Very well equipped in a great location : with its huge balcony it doesn't really require a lot of time indoors. Excellent facilities within walking distance so car is not required. Excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk and excellent bus service to Marbella - Fuengirola & Malaga if needed

Nice restaurants right next to the property . Stunning is a proper description.

A truly 5 star apartment in a 5 star complex

Impressively furnished, comfortable, well appointed and spotlessly clean - truly a 5 star apartment. The weather during our stay reached 36 degrees but the canopy allowed us shade and with a refreshing breeze the temperatures were manageable. The air conditioning units were 1st class and the wonderful pools also helped to cool us. The view from the terrace is a feast to the eye and over a glass of wine we often passed time watching life on the sea. To watch the sun rise and set is a sight to behold.

Mi Capricho is in an excellent location with all amenities close by. We dined out a number of times but our favourites were the Argentinian Steakhouse in the El Zoco centre in Calahonda and Albert's in Cabopino. Bus stop are close by should one wish to visit Marbella or in the other direction Fuengirola. We felt safe and secure at all times in this beautifully maintained complex.

Thank you Per for our perfect stay in your apartment and we look forward to our return in 2017.

Penthouse Pleasures

We stayed for a month in this lovely, well appointed clean and secure apartment. Views from the balcony are stunning with vistas to Africa and Gibraltar on a good day. Everything you need is at hand: supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants and services such as hair salons. For days when you want to explore further - perhaps Malaga or Marbella, the bus stop is almost in front of the property and runs quite regularly. Also, the train is accessible by bus to Fuengirola. There is a beach boardwalk right out front of the property with a wonderful walk to either Mijas or the port of Cabopino.

The 2 bedrooms and baths, along with the fully supplied kitchen are great for 2- 4 people and an extra bed available as well. It was a pleasure communicating with the owner who was not only quick to respond to every need but most interested in assuring that the time spent there was the best it could be.

If you have a car, the parking is very convenient within the building and offers security. The restaurant on the property is very good as are some of the restaurants in nearby Dona Lola.

I recommend this to anyone seeking a soothing respite in the sun along the Costa del Sol.

Calahonda is a favourite holiday destination as it is ideally situated right by the sea between Fuengirola and Marbella (both about 10 minutes drive away), and only 25 minutes drive from Malaga Airport. There's an an excellent bus service along the coast, with buses running every 25 minutes to Fuengirola and Marbella, stopping off at lots of beaches, villages, and attractions on the way. If you wish to travel further afield in the Malaga direction, a train will whisk you along the coast from Fuengirola via such tourist hotspots as Benalmadena and Torremolinos. Calahonda has a wide variety of shops, banks, bars, restaurants and cafes. It has it's own medical centre, a picturesque marina, and two golf courses. The lovely white village of Mijas is about 20 minutes drive up the foot-hills. Puerto Banus Marina is about 15 minutes drive. Gibraltar is about a 70 minute drive away, Ronda 50 minutes and the magnificent Selwo Adventure Park at Estepona is in the same direction, 25 minutes.
