Located in the north Cornwall seaside resort of Porthtowan, Lee's Loft is just 15 minutes' walk down to the Blue Flag award-winning beach which boasts soft sand, dramatic cliffs, great surf, a children's play park, and the popular beachside Blue Bar.
A detached reverse level dorma bungalow, Lee's Loft is set back and above the beach on a quiet residential street, and enjoys incredible sea views from the upstairs living room. Entrance to the house is from the large driveway into a good-sized porch with coat pegs and shoe rack and then on into the hallway.
All three bedrooms are downstairs as is the family bathroom and a utility room. Bedroom one is furnished with bunk beds (3'), a double sofabed, and bedroom storage. The room enjoys seaviews, as does bedroom two which offers a double bed (4'6?), wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedroom three is the master bedroom with king-sized bed (5') and fitted wardrobes.
The spacious fully tiled bathroom is fitted with a jacuzzi bath with shower over it, basin, WC, and a heated panel towel rail. A utility room, equipped with washing machine and tumble dryer, opens onto the fully enclosed garden laid to lawn with flower beds and garden furniture. The garden outbuilding is kept locked and is not available for use.
Glass sided stairs ascend from the hallway up to a large and light living area which affords stunning views across the sea from several windows including a beautiful big apex window. A 3-seater and a 2-seater leather sofa, plus a couple of beanbags, provide plenty of comfortable seating from which to sit and unwind after a hard day at the beach, or to watch the TV or a DVD, with surround sound. A large wooden dining table and eight chairs allow all the family to eat together, against the seascape backdrop.
Double doors to the kitchen open wide to make the upstairs feel like an open plan space. The kitchen is fitted with grey gloss units and white resin worktops, and is fully equipped with electric oven, hob, microwave, integrated dishwasher and fridge / freezer.
A second bathroom is on this floor, comprising of a bath, separate shower cubicle, WC, basin and heated panel towel rail. The property is heated by air source heating and there is parking on the driveway for three cars.
The beach is only two minutes by car, alternatively a nearby path leads down Sandy Road to the beach, approximately 15 minutes' walk (a little longer coming back up!). There is also a 15-minute country walk in the other direction to the 16th Century Victory Inn, and the coastal footpath heads east to St Agnes and west to Portreath over the cliffs. Porthtown is a great location from which to explore the rest of Cornwall: the cathedral city of Truro, beautiful beaches of Newquay, marine heritage of Falmouth and art of St Ives are all within easy reach by car.
