Located in a prime yet peaceful location in the popular resort of Playa Blanca, this south facing bungalow is an ideal base for a wonderfully relaxing holiday. Playa Flamingo beach, shops, bars and restaurants along with the town and harbour are all just a few minutes walk away. The local Spar supermarket is also just a couple of minutes walk away so no need to carry your shopping far. Spanish, German and UK TV including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, & Children's channels along with a safety deposit box and WIFI (additional charge applies) are at guests disposal.

Flights: Flights to Arrecife Airport can be sought from many UK airports with the airport itself just over a half hour taxi ride away. Due to flights arriving daily we are flexible on arrival dates subject to availability. Should you wish to explore the island there are numerous car hire places nearby. Why Chris Harrison chose Yaiza

After searching pretty well the whole of Playa Blanca we came back to the very first property we viewed. The complex has a wonderfully peaceful and friendly feel to it and is perfectly located. We purchased Casa Julia in 2007 and then the adjacent property, Casa Rachel, the following year.

What makes this bungalow unique

We actually lived in Casa Julia until we simply ran out of room for all of Rachel's toys and equipped it as our own home. Few people use the dishwasher but appreciate that we have tried to provide every home comfort. Living in Playa Blanca enables us to offer a personal touch to our guests and to be on hand if needed.

Lovely bungalow with absolutely everything you need on hand. TV great meant we could curl up on the sofa - just like home. Chris & Julia - thanks for sorting everything and so nice to meet you both. Can recommend La Gondola on the seafront and Cevantes on the main strip - mixed paella divine. Thanks again.

Beautiful Bungalow in the perfect spot!

Traveled here for Christmas and New Year with my husband and 16 year old daughter.

Bungalow is small and compact and is the very first one you come to on the Jardin del sol complex. It consists of a combined lounge/kitchen with everything you could possibly need i.e. TV/DVD, sofa, table & chairs, fridge freezer, cooker & hob (there is even a dishwasher, should you be feeling extra lazy!) There is a main good sized bedroom with a chest of drawers, 2 small bedside cabinets and wardrobe hanging space, with a couple of shelves under and over the hanging rail. There is also a built in safe bolted to the wall, so not much chance of someone running off with your belongings! There is a very small second bedroom (my daughter lovingly referred to as the cupboard!) This has a single bed, small bedside cabinet and an overhead cupboard. Sadly no wardrobe in here, but to be fair there wouldn't have been room to put one. This did mean however that unfortunately all her clothes were hanging in our wardrobe, leaving little space! Still thankfully not all of us have teenagers that want to bring their entire wardrobe contents from home with them!! Finally there is a nice bathroom which houses the washing machine and a lovely wet room style shower. The main center piece, however was the outdoor terrace which was set in a lovely little garden and had a table, 2 chairs and 2 sun loungers, which were very comfortable when you added the padded covers provided. There was sun from morning until pretty much sunset (if you moved your chair to the corner of the terrace to get the last rays,) which at Xmas is usually around 6.30 pm!

All in all we had a fabulous time. The complex is small and quiet, but this suited us perfectly, particularly as it was close to all amenities should you wish to venture out. Wish we were still there - we've only been home a day and a half and miss it already! Thank you Chris for allowing us to share your lovely little Bungalow, hopefully see you again if you decide not to sell up next year (which we selfishly hope you don't!)

Pleasantly relaxing

Compact accommodation which is well presented and equipped. Playa Blanca is a great resort filled with bars and restaurants but still has a relaxed feel.

Only down side is the unheated pool but this is fairly common in the area.

Enjoyed our stay

Very well equipped apartment in a convenient location in Playa Blanca. We loved sitting on the shaded terrace for breakfast and just for relaxing. Enjoyed the pool too and not far to walk to Flamingo Beach. Our only slight issue was that we had expected two bedrooms whereas the second bedroom was only really suitable for a child, but we were able to separate the king size bed into two twin beds, with the kind help of Chris, and share the bedroom. We're good friends so it didn't really bother us too much though.
