Our property is ideally located right in the heart of Seward within walking distance of the harbor and the historic downtown district. Driftwood Suites houses three vacation rentals and the office for our real estate brokerage, Seward Properties.
We're only two blocks from a free city shuttle stop and less than a block away from Exit Glacier Guides which offers inexpensive transport to the Exit Glacier area of Kenai Fjord National Park.
Perched along the rocky coast of Resurrection Bay, Seward is a small, seaside community and a great destination for those seeking adventure, Alaskan style!
Seward Harbor is a great jumping off point for visiting Kenai Fjords National Park whether your preference is whale watching trip, fishing charters or sea kayaking. Downtown visitors will enjoy browsing numerous local shops, cafes and galleries or spend the day exploring Alaska's premiere aquarium, the Alaska SeaLife Center.
Don't forgot to save time for a hike - the Tonsina Trail to Caines Head State Recreation Area, the Lost Lake trail in Chugach National Forest and the Harding Icefield Trail in Kenai Fjords National Park are some of our favorites! If you prefer to keep it low-key, take a walk along the paved waterfront path running between historic downtown and the harbor and you're likely to see sea otters playing in the surf and eagles swooping over head - you might even catch a glimpse of a Steller sea lion!
Whatever sort of adventure you're looking for, we're confident you'll find it in Seward. We'd love to have you as our guests and are happy to answer any questions you have as you plan your visit!
