I work very hard to ensure Lazy Days is beautifully clean for all my guests, I ask that this is please respected when you check out, and leave the caravan / garden in a clean tidy manner for me, that all bins are emptied, washing up is done and any dog mess is cleared up please.
Why Emma chose King's Lynn
Unlike other caravans on a site, Lazy Days is sited on its own private plot so has a fully enclosed private garden which is ideal for children and dogs. There are 4 local club rooms which require no kind of passes or entry fee, and provide food, and a great range of live entertainment.
100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
Lovely place to stay. Very comfortable.
My family had a lovely time. The caravan was very clean & there was plenty of toys & games for the children on a rainy day.
Don't expect your deposit back
We spent just 3 nights in the caravan, the annex was damp and full of woodlice and the owner lady was waiting for us at 10 am on the last day to clean but did not take before and after pictures and accused us of damaging her bedside cabinet with stain marks which we did not do, so no deposit :-(
Unfortunately this is the very first time since hiring out my caravan that I have ever had to claim a damage waiver. I have a certificate of excellence and 100% perfect feedback on another very well known site.
On arrival when I checked the guests in I was asked to be there to check them out at 10 am instead of the usual 11 am as they had to get to standsted airport, hence I arrived at 10am as I had been asked to !! I then waited outside the caravan with my 5 year old until they left at 10.30.
I personally clean the caravan myself every single time I have a guest. Therefore When I went in and cleaned after they had left I saw that something had been stood / spilt on the bedroom dressing table in different places which had left 6 large stains that would not come out when cleaned, therefore ruining the appearance of the dressing table for future guests. This will cost me a great deal more than the damage waiver to replace. I did email and make it very clear that I didn’t for a moment think it was intentional damage but it is still damaged and I now have the expense of replacing it hence I had to claim the damage waiver. I did provide several photos of the stains for my guests to see.
A bar of soap had also been dropped down the sink which then blocked the pipes which I had to have removed
I also had to ask the guests to clear up their dog mess from the garden before they left as it had not been done.
I do not actually know how to prevent a wood louse from entering the annex unfortunately bugs do sometimes get in ! And with the massive amounts of rain we have recently experienced I can only put this down to this.
I do provide an oil heater in the annex for guests to use as there is no central heating in there. My own children have slept in the annex many many times using this heater and we have found it more than adaquete
