About Robert Hargreaves
My whole life has been built around travel, so it's a real pleasure to be able to share some of those opportunities with you. I have had a long career in hotels and serviced apartments in the UK but now I just enjoy what I have always loved: travel. Favourite destinations include Koh Samui, Thailand; Palawan, Philippines; Luang Prabang, Laos; Dambulla, Sri Lanka and many, many more. My favourite food choices pretty much reflect where I love to go. As I am not always in London, I have some friends from the industry who look after my guests and my properties for me. Coming from the hospitality industry, quality of service is very, very important - especially with my luxury apartments - so we will take excellent care of you from the moment you first come into contact with us to the moment you leave London.

Why Robert Hargreaves chose Kensington and Chelsea
"when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford" Despite my love of travel, I also love returning to London. There is no better place to enjoy all of the excitement and opportunities of this great city than Kensington and no better place than this lovely 3 Bedroom 3.5 Bathroom townhouse is in an amazing location on a relatively quiet street just off High Street Kensington – one of central London’s premier shopping streets – and in easy walking distance of Kensington Palace and Gardens, the Royal Albert Hall, Hyde Park and so much more. Knightsbridge and South Kensington are walkable with bus and tube routes from High Street Kensington tube station – just 4 minutes’ walk from your townhouse. This is a great base for visiting central London's sights, museums, shops and theatres. There is a wide range of shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets within a few minutes’ walk.

Very pleasant stay and helpful staff
The property is very well located and is equipped with all you would need for a stay.
We particularly enjoyed the spacious living room with an open kitchen. The bedroom on the ground floor is a bit noisy in the morning but is quiet in the night. The two bathrooms upstairs are bright and airy.
The location cannot be better and we would definitely recommend this property to big families.
Robert and his team were was extremely helpful and punctual.
Kensington is one of the more exclusive residential areas of central London and it's really not hard to see why. From both sides of High Street Kensington, you walk into lovely side streets of very expensive houses. High Street Kensington is one of central London’s premier shopping streets and the more exclusive shopping on Knightsbridge is also in each reach by bus or tube.
If you enjoy museums, there are some of London's best in the area – the Design Museum is a very short walk down High Street Kensington and it is just a short tube or bus ride to the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum.
London is famous for its parks and you have Holland Park at the bottom of the street and Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park (essentially one park) are in easy walking distance up High Street Kensington – a lovely, wide boulevard. Kensington Palace there is home to Prince William and Kate and to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
However, this part of Kensington was once just a village outside London and had taverns as it was still half a day’s ride from the city. It still retains something of the atmosphere from those earlier days in side streets and some lovely, very individual shops and restaurants. They can be a bit pricey but they are a unique experience.
