Luxury 5 bedroom spacious Victorian home with far reaching sea views

Our home in Broadstairs can comfortably sleep up to 10 (plus 1 cot). We have completely restored this fine example of Victoria family living yet ensured modern needs are more than catered for. With the Blue Flag beach of Stones Bay just feet away it will be difficult to tear your little ones from the sand. Vikings Bay and the centre of Broadstairs is a 3 minute walk away offering shops, restaurants, the Bandstand and even a Punch & Judy show on the glorious sandy beach. The house is child friendly and offers play tables, toys and a secure, walled rear garden to keep everyone happy at all times. Three beautifully appointed king sized double rooms and luxurious open plan kitchen with large dining space and living rooms ensure adults are also able to relax. Whether you choose to spend time inside (or the weather dictates!), you will feel at home.

All bed linens and towels provided - guests are requested to use their own beach towels. Full gas central heating throughout the property. Underfloor heating in the large kitchen / dining space and all bathrooms. Wood burning stove with fire guard in the main living room. The property has been fully renovated in 2011 and has child safety features such as stair gates, plug covers, night lights, etc., as well as furniture (cots, high chairs, tables, etc.), for toddlers and children. The house has a large front garden with sea views with a shower hose to clean sandy feet! The secure walled rear lawned garden enjoys the evening sun. A decked patio area leads from the double French doors of the kitchen / dining area. A large wooden table and integrated chairs seating 8 is complemented with additional garden chairs and a bench. Beautiful house in super location.

This was our 4th stay at 2 Eastern Esplanade and the house is in just the same excellent condition as it was on our 1st visit. We were a party of 3 generations and this house is equipped to suit all ages equally well. The property was spotlessly clean on our arrival, is extremely well maintained and is in a wonderful location - on the seafront at Stones Bay but only a few minutes walk to Viking Bay and all the facilities of Broadstairs. The owner is very approachable and efficient and we would all be more than happy to return to this seaside holiday home.

Beautiful house in a great location

Lovely house which has been beautifully refurbished, and is in a lovely location - a quiet road overlooking the sea. Everything you could want is provided, and Alex (the owner) was extremely communicative and helpful. We all had a great stay and really enjoyed Broadstairs - everyone we met was friendly and helpful, and the town is extremely charming, with plenty of restaurants and pubs not much more than 5 minutes walk away. Highly recommend Broadstairs as a place to visit, and if you're there, I think you'd struggle to find a better property than this one.

Lovely seafront family home

I loved my stay here. The house is lovely inside and out. It has an amazing view of the beach and the shops are really close. The beds are comfortable and the room are quite big. My grandmother knows the owners and she says they are nice too. I would live here if I could. I have had the best weekend of my life here and I wish to do it again.

Everything you wish for, and more!

The house itself was wonderful, every amenity. Such a comfortable family home and in such a perfect position. Just across the small road to Stone Bay and a five minute walk to Viking Bay.

We had an 86 year old in a wheelchair, for the first time, so it took a bit of manoeuvring around the small, windy and hilly roads, but we did it, phew!!

The house is so spacious, beautifully decorated and catered for us all. An excellent large variety of toys, no need to bring anything, even down to colouring pencils, paper and a lovely touch of a pirate goody bag for the children.

There is also a nice size garden, flat, that gets the afternoon sun and a double garage which is really convenient. There is parking also outside the house which I imagine gets a lot busier as the season progresses but we all found spaces easy enough.

Broadstairs is a wonderful, traditional seaside which brought back lots of happy memories.

Thank you for a wonderful stay and use of your home. We would definitely like to book again in the future.

Perfect seaside family holiday home.

This house is ideally located right across the road from 2 beautiful beaches. It's large, spacious, beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and very homely. The family who own this lovely house have catered for the whole family, especially children. The toys, books, children's cutlery, buckets/spades/nets means we can literally arrive with very little stuff for the kids! We have visited 3 times, and each time we return, our children create more and more wonderful memories.

We will most definitely return and highly recommend this home for large families with young children.

Beautiful Home in Fantastic Location

Ten of us spent 3 nights in this wonderful home. Alex was accommodating with our request for an earlier arrival time as this was a family celebration.

The house was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect for access to the beach and town. There was plenty of toys/games etc to keep children occupied.

I cannot think of one negative about this property and we all agreed we would definitely return.

Our home is on the seafront directly overlooking the Blue Flag sandy beach of Stones Bay and a 3 min walk from the centre of Broadstairs and Vikings Bay.

Golf: There are six, 18 hole courses within a 15 minute drive including the Royal St Georges at Sandwich, host to the 2011 open. Both St Augustines and the North Foreland courses are open to non-members. For younger golfers the Lilliputt Crazy Golf course is only a 10 minute walk away!

Refundable Damage Deposit £150

Bookings can be taken by phone or on-line. A booking deposit of £150 is required to reserve your stay, which also acts as a security deposit. This is refunded 14 days after your departure (less any damage if incurred). Full payment of rental is due four weeks prior to your stay.

Prices are based on 7 nights. Long weekend prices (3 nights) are also available as are off season discounts.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
