Truly wonderful stay in Frederic's St. Germaine Flat ....

Truth in Advertising. This wonderful, comfortable, feels like you live in the most fantastic neighborhood in Paris, flat is EXACTLY what is advertised in Home Away. We are a family of 4, our kids are 20 years old, who are just starting to experience international travel. Frederic's flat is perfectly located, easy access to all the sites, and FOOD, well we walked out the door and there were an "embarrassment of riches" of cafes, fantastic shopping and adventure. I particularly loved the area which was bustling but the flat is situated in a courtyard so it was always so quiet. Frederic has everything and then some stocked , so grateful for the extra adapters. Ruth and her cousin he greeted us and bid us a warm adieu were lovely and so helpful.

I cannot wait to of Back to PARIS and I would definitely want to stay here again.

Great Location and Well Appointed

This neighborhood and location was very convenient. Right down the street from two landmark Cafes in Paris. The owner was very responsive and the caretake Ruth was very pleasant and helpful. We totaled 4 people with children aged 14 and 12 - having space to move about as well as a kitchen, refrigerator and washer/dryer was helpful for an extended stay. The beds were comfortable and though we used the air-conditioning (a plus), the unit does not get direct sunlight due to its location in the building. You have views of the inner courtyards. Extremely safe area! The photographs provided are accurate representations of what you will see. A great stay in Paris!

Spacious apt. in great location

Equipped with everything you need, bathroom was modern, beds were comfortable. Location and building was quite and felt very safe. Grocery store and metro across the street. Owner was A+ with communication and everything from check in to check out was super smooth. Not great that they gave the 500 Euro deposit back just as I was leaving Europe, but I worked it out. Only issue was the floors are really creaky and the person below complained, even though we did our very best to walk quietly. I also would have liked to see the décor a bit more Parisian. Thank you for a great experience overall!!

Fantastic apartment

The other reviews are spot on. Great location, very safe. Kitchen was nice size and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. The biggest plus was the nice size washer AND dryer. We are a family of 4 traveling on a 2 week holiday, so doing laundry was quite important.

The only negative was the 500euro damage deposit. I just don’t like walking around with that much cash.

Ruth, who is the property manager, was quite helpful as well.

Wonderful Apartment with Great Location

Our family (husband, and two daughters age 11 and 9) stayed in the apartment in May 2018. The apartment is as advertised, and I must agree with the other reviewers that the location is ideal in the 6th. A short walk to shops, restaurants, and the metro is right on the corner. It is the St. Sulpice (Pink Line 4), in case you are taking the RER from the airport. Monoprix for grocery shopping was great, we left behind a wheeled shopping cart for future guests. The floors are very creaky, and you almost feel like you may fall through in some spots, but we agreed that was the "Parisian Charm". Air Con worked very well, and was much needed during out stay as the temps hit near 90, was great for sleeping. The apartment was very quiet, and made for a very restful sleep. Bathroom and kitchen are well appointed and updated. Overall, a very nice place to stay and I would highly recommend. Only negative was the last minute cash deposit request. It made me uncomfortable to have to travel with an extra $600 is USD, and hand it over, only to be promised that it would be returned. We did receive our full deposit back on the last day, just not sure why this is done this way, I suspect it is to avoid fees on VRBO?

We loved our Parisian Apartment!

We rented this apartment and were very pleased with it overall. It looked just like the photos, was clean and in a fantastic area of the city. We tend to walk everywhere and this location made that perfect. Frederic Michel was kind enough to accommodate my request for a French Press and purchased one specifically for our stay. A great touch as I am an avid FP coffee drinker! This is a beautiful apartment and we so enjoyed our stay. The ONLY recommendation would be to let renters know up front about the cash security fee required. Since we were traveling in Europe three weeks prior to our arrival in Paris, we actually had to withdraw money to make this happen. Would definitely rent from Frederic again!
