Apartment Cappellari is located on the first floor of a characteristic 16th century building near the well known open food and flower market Campo de Fiori. If you’re looking for a central location for your Rome stay, then you just found the ideal apartment!
The apartment is located in one of the nicest Rome’s streets; a small cobbles-toned street right around the corner from the famous Campo dei Fiori market, where you’ll mix with the locals or enjoy a coffee or cocktail at one of the many sidewalk cafes that line these cobblestoned streets.
The apartment has been tastefully refurbished, maintaining at the same time the true character you should expect from a Rome apartment: exposed beams and cotto floors. It sits one minute to Campo dei Fiori, where by day you can mix or shop with the locals at the famous market and 2 minutes walk to Piazza Navona.
The apartment has everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable Roman stay. It’s about 80mq and it consists of 1 double bedroom, a spacious and charming living room with a double and a single sofa beds, a single room and 2 bathrooms. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen where you will find whatever you could need for your stay. Cappellari Apartment and its location will definitely leave you with very fond memories of Rome.
The apartment is really fully equipped and it’s provided with:
• Mobile air conditioning
• Independent heating
• Coffee machine
• Washing machine
• Iron and ironing board
• Hair dryer
• PC and printer

Our overall experience was wonderful. The apartment has so much charm and was very well located. There is so much to do literally out the front door.
The apartment was spacious, attractive, comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Any questions or issues we had during our stay were quickly answered and resolved by Chiarra via email, and maintenance was performed by her and her husband. Our 2 daughters were able to have separate single beds in the small second bedroom - a real advantage for teenage girls - and all of the beds were comfortable. The location was fantastic. We were just 10 meters from the lovely Campo dei Fiori - a wonderful square with a daily market, excellent bakery, nice restaurants, and walking distance to most tourist sites in the old city. There were two small detractors for the apartment and one larger one, as follows: First, the Wi-fi is very slow and irregular - not to be counted on. Second, the dryer setting did not work in the washing machine. Third and more importantly, the apartment is across the street from a small bar that attracted a noisy student crowd from about midnight to 2am every night. Bearing in mind that we were there during a holiday period (Dec. 31-Jan.8) when the students have more free time, the noise carried directly into the master bedroom and made sleeping difficult. The noise level could have been the result of ill-fitting windows in the master bedroom, since our daughters seemed to sleep through the night. My husband and I slept with the bathroom fan on to block out the noise.
Had a wonderful 4 night stay in fabulous Rome. Ideal place for 3 of us to stay. So close to all the facilities in the campo de fiori market which was brilliant. Being central meant it was so easy to 'pop' back to the appartment for lunch etc which gives you felxibility and the option of saving alot of money. All major attractions within easy walking distance. Apartment was kitted out with everything you needed for a short stay. Beds very comfortable. Ear plugs a necessitity as the Italians don't do 'quiet' at night time but being in the thick of it adds to the charm. Chiara very easy to contact and all went smoothly. Would recommend arranging the car via chiara to and from the airport as the door to door service was worth every euro. Rosi very helpful and keen to make sure you had everything you needed. I would highly recoomend this apartment to anyone who loves being in the heart of such a wonderful city.
I would comment that the apartment is advertised as sleeping 6 but realistically 5 is more realistic. The second bedroom space is a single room and to sleep 3 in the living area would be a tall order.
Everything we wanted to see in Rome was easy walking distance - Vatican City, The Pantheon, and the Colosseum with all there is to see in that area (don't miss the Baths of Caracella!). The immediate vicinity had more restaurants than you could possibly explore in only a week. For groceries, there's a de Spar close by and a Carrefour Express a little farther. At the corner of Via de Capellari is the Forno bakery with excellent offerings, and the Campo de Fiori square has a large daily market. As for the flat, it was well laid out, beds were comfortable, wifi worked well, and the kitchen had all the appliances we needed for breakfasts and dinners in. My only word of warning was that the windows facing the street offered little sound proofing, and the evenings and early mornings could be quite noisy. Chiara was very helpful arranging airport transport for our group of 6, and she was quick to respond to our frequent communications in preparation for the trip. All in all, it was an excellent week!
Location and nearby attractions
The charm and history of this quarter is unmatched in Rome. The apartment is close to Campo dei Fiori in which during the day takes place a picturesque market and that in the night becomes a drawing-room for meeting of tourist and lovers of Rome historical centre. This is a very strategic location because is just 3 min walking from Piazza Navona and 5 min from Trastevere. It is also easy to walk to Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Foro Romano, Piazza Venezia, Castel Sant’Angelo and the Vatican. The Tiber cruises boarding point on Ponte Sisto is also just few meters away. From here you can reach every place in the historical centre walking for no more than 15-20 min. Lazier ones will appreciate the several bus lines passing close to the apartment.
This popular tourist area also offers a range of fashionable shops and characteristic eating places, where typical Roman cuisine can be enjoyed in the numerous trattorias, pizzerias and wine bars.
