Spotlessly clean, comfortable and ideally situated for trips around the Levels. Although next door to the pub the only noise we noticed was bird song. We hope to return later in the year, I think that says it all.

Very well presented, all you could need for a comfortable stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay, the cottage was very comfortable, the kitchen had all you could require apart from 2 egg cups which would have been nice, the bed was better than our own which is always a worry.

Being so close to a pub was not a problem, although we did not use it as when we asked if they had a table available for the Saturday night were told in an abrupt manner no chance, and to add insult to injury we were short changed by £10 we did not realise until the following morning, so we never went there again, the White Horse at Mark was excelant.

Lovely, clean and has everything you need.

  • 4 of 5

The cottage was lovely to stay in, we were very pleased that some items were already available e.g the teabags, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper. These items were very handy as we normally have to buy these in on holiday. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was cosy and warm. The only comments I would make as an improvement is that the sofas were small and didn’t find the smaller one very comfortable at all so both of us had to sit on to the leather one so couldn’t lie down. The previous people staying had turned all radiators off so the first night was very cold until I realised and the shower wasn’t very powerful. Lorna was very helpful and lovely! Overall a great place to stay and the pub attached serves great food! Would recommend to anyone.

Worthing, West Sussex

Cosy, comfortable, well equipped cottage in a good position for exploring the area.

Loved this cottage with it's welcoming feel...just the right size for the 2 of us and our Yorkshire Terrier. Beautifully clean and with everything needed. It's warm and cosy and we felt very comfortable here. Despite its close proximity to the local pub (very nice pub), we found it was very peaceful at night. Loved opening the window in the morning and hearing the sheep and birds. Excellent central position for visiting places...plenty are fairly close by. If we come back to this area we'd definitely stay here again.
