The word `breathtaking` can often be something of a `cliche` when it comes to describing Mallorcan holiday rental properties. However when you discover the amazing views you enjoy from the rooftop terrace of Casa de Musa, there is only one word for it: breathtaking!
This is one dramatic location. Imagine for a moment sitting on the elevated rooftop terrace, drink in hand, whilst enjoying the magnificent views overlooking the pretty cove of Cala Figuera and the mountains beyond. Well, all this and more awaits you at Casa de Musa.
This magnificent 3-storey townhouse once belonged to a renowned Swedish artist. And it shows - witness a perfect marriage of traditional Spanish architecture and cool contemporary design.
Sleeping up to six people (plus one child) in total comfort, Casa de Musa has everything you need for a dream holiday.
Traditional architecture meets contemporary design.
The interior of the property is delightful: old Mallorcan stone archways, solid wood roof beams, whitewashed walls, terracotta tiles, traditional fireplace...all complemented by a flourish of artistic touches that please the eye and fire the imagination.
One of the nicest things about Casa de Musa is that its open spaces generously fill the house with natural light. That lovely, soft Mallorcan light that attracts artists and holidaymakers from around the world.
A true home from home
There are some lovely touches to the large, air-conditioned living/dining area. The luxurious leather sofa, for example, is the perfect place to put your feet up and relax with a good book.
You`ll find two beautiful Malawi chairs imported from Africa, plus an impressive teak dining table where you can enjoy a meal together with friends and family.
You can keep up with your favourite TV programmes too, with the 42" wall-mounted Smart TV, and the high speed WiFi will keep you connected 24/7.
The well-equipped kitchen which leads off from the main living space has everything you need: stainless steel fridge/freezer to keep everything chilled, plus an oven and hob to cook up a tasty treat. (In Cala Figuera you can buy fresh fish directly from the local fishermen at the end of the day!)
There`s also a washing machine and dishwasher, a kettle and coffee machine, and more.
Pass through the main dining area and you emerge on to the pretty south-facing exterior patio complete with its own lemon tree. (Fancy making some homemade lemonade?) Just off the patio, you`ll find the main family bathroom.
Climb the stairs and you come across another delightful patio, this time adorned with a grape vine. (The patio also features a lovely sheltered gazebo.) It`s such a lovely place to enjoy an evening barbecue, with a six-seater dining table also provided for you.
Luxury bedrooms guarantee a good night`s sleep
Continue up Casa de Musa`s exterior staircase and you`ll find a bedroom suite equipped with both a king-size bed and a single bed. You enjoy splendid sea views from here, and the ceiling fans will keep you cool during the warm Mallorcan nights.
There are also two additional small bedrooms, both equipped with king-size beds.
Casa de Musa`s fabulous master bedroom suite is further up the exterior stairs. It`s a beautifully decorated, air-conditioned space featuring a king sized bed and en suite shower. The views from here are absolutely stunning.
The owners of Casa de Musa have gone out of their way to make your stay here as luxurious as possible. Everything has been thought of. The bed linen is fine quality 100% Egyptian cotton. All the duvets and pillows are hypoallergenic providing a peaceful night`s sleep. And luxury towels are 100% cotton to allow for easy drying.
Everything on your doorstep
Cala Figuera is a lovely retreat far away from the madding crowd with everything you need virtually on your doorstep.
