Villa Kissamos lies amidst an olive grove on a luscious hill with an extraordinary view on the gulf of Kissamos.

It is literally a hidden gem around the beauty and tranquility of a uniquely green landscape, only 1.7 km away from the nearest beach which lies in front of Kastelli town.

The villa comprises of two separate floor apartments that are only rented together. Each floor is totally independent with separate entrances and it is the best choice for two families or groups.

The whole building and facilities are high quality throughout and great care can be seen in every detail including Cocomat beddings and hydromassage showers in the bedrooms and bathrooms.

The villa can accommodate 10 people in beds.

- Indoor layout (Ground floor) -

Entering the villa on the ground floor (147 sq. m) there is a spacious open plan area consisting of the living room with a large sofa, a fireplace, a 49" satellite HDTV, an indoor dining area and a fully equipped main kitchen of top quality fixtures and appliances including a wine cooler. Impressive panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows from the living room area with endless views leads you to the outdoor terrace and the pool.

The ground floor has three bedrooms, one is the master bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower and the other two bedrooms have 2 single beds each. A bathroom with shower is also found on the same floor.

- Indoor layout (First floor) -

Entering the first floor (110 sq. m) from its own entrance, there is the second open plan area consisting of the living room with a large sofa, a fireplace, a 49" satellite HDTV, an indoor dining area and the second kitchen. The open plan area opens to a spacious veranda with a sitting area offering the magnificent views of the sea and mountain.

Two bedrooms are found on the first floor, one is the master bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower and the other one has 2 single beds. There is also a bathroom with bath on the same floor.

- Outdoor area -

The beautifully landscaped outdoor area surrounded by various trees and flowers offers a variety of facilities and spots for relaxation.

More specifically our outdoor facilities include:?

- 25 sq. m ecological heated swimming pool. The pool can be heated with an additional daily charge for entire stay, upon request (Please note that the pool heating can be used upon advance request for the entire stay and it requires at least one week advance notice).
- Fully equipped charcoal barbecue

- 2 outdoor dining tables

- A variety of furnished spots (with sun beds, sofas and chairs) for relaxing in the terrace and the gardens around the villa

- Parking space

The whole outdoor area is totally private and fenced, offering full privacy to our guests.

Villa Kisamos is located in outskirts of Kastelli, also known as Kissamos (or Kasteli of Kissamos. )

Kissamos (Kastelli) is 36km east of Chania and it is a modern seaside town where the travellers can combine the experience of local life and tradition with the peace and quiet that the surrounding area offers, ideal for relaxation.

It is a hospitable town, well organized with all the facilities required for your holiday, such as shops, health centre, supermarkets, stores, banks, post office etc, It also has a beautiful seaside promenade lined with tavernas, cafes and bars open from the morning till late at night. Additionally, the famous old market of Kissamos, will impress you by the traditional arches of the buildings, the small shops and the traditional cafes.

Close to the villa you will find several sandy beaches that you should visit including the nearest organized beach of Kastelli, around 1.7 km away, Mavros Molos, one of the most famous beach. Additionally, one of the advantage of staying in the villa is that you will have easy access to some of the best beaches in Crete and even in the whole Greece which are Balos (15 km), Phalasarna (14.5 km) and Elafonisi (41 km) beaches.

The villas location is ideal for one more reason: it is only 1 km to the main national road, thus making excursions around the west and southwest coastline and countryside, that are scattered with breathtaking beaches and picturesque villages, is a very easy thing to do.

villa d'exception sur les hauteurs de Kissamos

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans cette magnifique villa sur les hauteurs de kissamos. Un cadre exceptionnel, de trés belles prestations, la proximité avec les plus beaux sites ( Balos, Elafonisi, Phalasarna ), font de cette villa un must pour passer de superbes vacances dans la region de la Canée. Un grand merci aux hôtes ( Kostas et Mrs Olga ) pour leurs dévouements et leurs professionnalismes...Bravo!!!

Beautiful stay with a perfect hospitality

We stayed in the house with six people for one week and we had an absolutetly amazing time. From booking to arrival and checkout - The communication was always excellent, honest and customer centered. The house was perfect for our needs and is well located for daily trips. I would recommend the house and we will definitetly book a house from the rental management etouri again when on Crete. One of the most professional tourist management agencies I have seen so far. Urlaub mit 3 Familien August 2021

Das Haus ist sauber. Die Kommunkation mit der Agentur hat wunderbar funktioniert. Wir hatten das Haus für 3 Familien gebucht und waren 10 Personen. 1 Schlafzimmer im Haus im EG ist wirklich sehr klein und hat nur ein sehr schmales und kleines Fenster. Zudem ist die Klimaanlage dort direkt über einem Bett. Für uns war dieses Schlafzimmer maximal von 1 Person zu nutzen. Etwas schade ist auch, dass nicht jedes Schlafzimmer auch ein eigenes Bad hat. Die Küche im oberen Stock ist nur dürftig eingerichtet. Das hat uns nicht gestört, weil wir uns meist im unteren Bereich des Hauses aufgehalten haben. Sollte man aber wissen, falls man autork auch den oberen Stock nutzen möchte.

Man will nicht mehr fort...!

Ausgesprochen erholsamer Urlaub in traumhafter Villa. Das Haus an sich ist wunderschön mit großartigem Blick auf den Golf von Kissamos, von der Terrasse aus, von der wunderschönen Loggia, dem Pool und auch vom herrlichem Wohnzimmer mit offener Küche: "Ein Tempel des Lichts"! Doch auch die vielen Details überzeugen. Leckere Snacks standen zur Begrüssung bereit, der Kühlschrank (mit Eiswürfelspender!) gefüllt mit Lebensmitteln, Wasser und Bier, abschließbarer Carport... Es fehlte an nichts, alles was man sonst in Ferienhäusern oft erst einkaufen muss, ist vorhanden: Nespresso-Kapseln, Shampoo, Seife, Spülmittel, Waschmittel, etc, sogar Holzkohle und Anzünder für den Outdoor-Grill. Auch der Service ist perfekt! Super herzlicher Empfang und Verabschiedung durch die zauberhafte Olga, alle drei Tage perfekte Reinigung und Poolservice, Concierge-Service steht per Telefon oder Whatsapp jederzeit zur Verfügung - eigentlich ist es wie in einem Luxushotel, und doch ist man völlig ungestört. Eigentlich gibt es keinen Grund, das Anwesen überhaupt zu verlassen, wären da nicht die beiden Restaurantempfehlungen von Olga: Fisch Taverna Tsegas am alten Hafen und Restaurant Gramvoussa im 10 min entfernten Kaliviani. Ersteres super einfach, super idyllisch und super lecker, immer nach dem Catch-of-the-day fragen und dann leckeren, saftigen und aromatischen Fisch genießen! Letzteres eine größere, stets lebhafte Taverne mit hübscher Loggia, herzlicher Gastfreundschaft und großem Wert auf Produktqualität. Selbst scheinbar Nebensächliches ist hier bemerkenswert: Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten, selbstgemachter Yoghurt, eigener Weisswein.... So wird dort selbst aus einem simplem Bifteki vom Holzkohlegrill eine fluffige Delikatesse! Ein Wort zu den Stränden: die berühmten Strände Balos und Efalonissi sind zwar hübsch anzuschauen, aber letzlich überlaufen und nicht wirklich ein Genuss für einen ganzen Tag. Viel besser für einen Beach Tag ist Falassarna an der Westküste: Großzügig, weit, weicher Sand, kristallklares türkises Wasser, tolle Brandung zum im Wasser toben, dann ein Burger zum Lunch in der hübschen Beachbar PlayaParaiso, nachmittags einen leckeren Frappé und abends ein Cocktail zum spektakulären Sonnenuntergang - himmlisch! By the way: wir waren hier Mitte Oktober, während es in Deutschland schon kalt und regnerisch war konnte man hier noch an jedem Tag im Pool oder Meer schwimmen bei Temperaturen von 26-31 Grad! Das einzige Problem hier: Man will nicht mehr fort!

Perfect location for a big group

We enjoyed our vacation with our big family at the Villa. The location had breathtaking views and the house provided us with everything we needed - enough beds, bathrooms and space. The barbecue spot was a nice addition! Pool was perfectly suited for us and the welcome committee gave us a good tour around the property with some local delicacies as a surprise gift. Extremely kind! The location was a bit out from the downtown noise, and that suited us perfectly as we had our own rented car (which I suggest if you're staying at the Villa!). It's not that far from downtown, but the hill is steep. The communication with the host worked quickly and we had no issues during our stay. Thank you!
