About the property

The living room has a solid oak floor & corner sofa which incorporates a king size folding bed & dining table to seat six people. Double doors from the living room lead out on to the balcony with stunning views across the lake.

We have free wi-fi, a 32” Smart TV which can be connected to your NetFlix account. There is also a DVD player and a Nintendo Wii games console with several games. French cable TV is connected which has a few English language news channels available

The bedroom has chunky pine furniture and an oak floor give it a warm cosy feel. The bedroom sleeps four people, there is a king size bed, bunk beds, drawers and a large wardrobe.

The bathroom has a new white suite with bath and shower.

The kitchen is new for 2016 and has all the usual equipment including kettle, dishwasher oven, induction hob, & fridge along with plenty of pots, pans and utensils.

Great apartment in a brilliant resort

Our family of 3 had a wonderful holiday staying here.

Apartment is very well equipped and maintained with great views from the lounge / balcony over the lake and mountains. Beds were comfortable with enough distance between parents and child in bunk beds to ensure a peaceful night for all!

Location is great. After a 2 minute walk to drop the boy off at ski school (Evolution 2, very good) we'd pop in to Le Chardon Bleu for some fresh bread from before returning for a leisurely breakfast. Tignes is fab as well, Le Lagon swimming pool kept the activity levels high after skiing finished for the day.

Communication with owner and his local representatives (Tignes Angels) was efficient and painless to ensure everything ran smoothly.

Spacious, comfortable apartment

We were a group of 5 adults staying for a week and we found the apartment very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of storage space and a large communal space that leads to a balcony with fantastic views of the slopes, lake and val claret. The kitchen is a fairly tight space but has everything you will need for your stay. We prepared meals a few times throughout the week and were grateful for the dishwasher! The beds are comfortable and the wooden floors, furniture and details are lovely. Plenty of bars and restaurants on the street and only a short walk to the lifts. Would highly recommend this apartment and hope to be back one day!

Fab apartment in a great resort!

We had a great week, we were so lucky to be in Tignes, I think it was one of the few places that had snow.

The apartment was really good, we loved the location, layout, decor and huge beds and we all fell in love with the giant duvets! The kitchen all worked fine and having Carrefour just down the road was a bonus too! There seemed to be lots of hot water and heat in the radiators. The ski locker was fine and the block as a whole seemed to be very friendly. The kids gave the Wifi a big thumbs up. Thanks for a great week!

Clean, cosy and sunny

Nicely located apartment as close to the main lifts and ski-schools/shops. Clean, cosy and sunny with a very nice view on the mountains. Good wifi and equipment. Kitchen is tiny but well equipped. Wooden floor and practical furniture make it ideal for stay with a family with (small) kids.

Third visit - tells its own story!

Just returned from a great week at Matts apartment. Never considered staying anywhere else. Everything we needed was there and presented very well. Still the same stunning view from the lounge window - fabulous! Plenty of good restaurants to choose from and all the equipment to cook at home if you prefer. Highly recommended. Thanks Matt.

Tignes and its neighbouring resort of Val d’Isere make up the ski area known as the Espace Killy and offers over 300km of pisted skiing and some of Europe’s most spectacular scenery. Due to the high altitude glacier it’s possible to hit the slopes almost all year round with the lifts only closing for the months of May & September.

Tignes has a free bus service which runs 24 hours a day in the winter, linking the three main areas within the resort (Val Claret, Le Lavachet & Le Lac) so the plentiful supply of bars and restaurants are all within easy reach.

Fitted out to a very high standard and situated next to the lifts, number 10 Le Lac boasts a south facing balcony with spectacular views across the lake and the Grand Motte glacier.

There are plenty of shops within the apartment complex, including a well stocked supermarket, a patisserie & a pharmacy along with several bars and restaurants.

The apartment is available to rent all year.

Golf: Tignes boasts the highest golf course in Europe! Its18 hole course winds around the mountainside on 5 km of green way, as well as natural obstacles highlighted by architect Philippe Valant, Tignes Golf Club is for both beginners and experts.

Ski: Tignes is served by the large well linked ski area called L'Espace Killy. Tignes shares the L'Espace Killy with Val d'Isere and with over 300km (190 miles) of pistes 150 shops, 115 bars, numerous ski schools, 1500+ staff & extensive off-piste it has become one of Europe's premier resorts.

Due to its altitude Tignes has a very reliable snow record which, after recent seasons of reduced snowfall, has encouraged people to choose higher mountain resorts. According to 'The good Ski & Snowboarding Guide' Tignes/Val d'Isere is one of only two ski areas in France listed as 'Snow-sure resorts'.

Tignes boasts a fast & efficient lift system including 2 high speed underground trains (funicular railways) one of which transports you from Tignes Val Claret to the 'Panoramic Restaurant' on the Grand Motte Glacier.
