Near beaches and downtown

The apartment and studio are located in a property at the end of a dead individual houses.

A small road lined with plane trees leads to walk or drive to the seaside, 800m, and on the beach.

There you can walk follow the shoreline on the beach path and reach the city center by the bay of Saint Jean de Luz.

The apartment of 80 m2 on the first floor of a traditional house is spacious and comfortable for 2-5 people, with three bedrooms, a large kitchen / dining room and lounge. It is bright and sunny thanks to its exposure. it is protected from noise or heat through windows all with double glazing, blinds or traditional shutters.

It can be rented with one bedroom or two just for two to three people, according to the applications.

The interior layout allows the independence of each.

Close to the apartment, the studio for two people is independent and ground garden,

Private parking is in front of the studio, or very close to the apartment

With the rental of the studio you have a nice outdoor green space, with garden furniture on the lawn.

Proposals for the stay:

Studio for 2 people: sheets are provided and room ready on arrival, towels can be made available.

Apartment for 5 people: sheets are provided and the rooms ready on arrival. Linen can be provided.

For arrivals by plane can also be provided a welcome to Biarritz airport.

Bedrooms 2 and 3, exposed northeast with large PVC double glazed windows and traditional shutters. Room 2 is a large room with 140 bed, wardrobe and bedside tables. Bedroom 3 has a 90 bed, dresser and nightstand. Baby Cot available if required.

The kitchen and the dining room form a large clear and sunny room because lit by three large windows. The apartment was renovated in 2011 and the kitchen equipment is complete new and modern. The apartment also has a small laundry with washer-dryer, sink and drying rack. Bed linen and towels are provided and the rooms ready on arrival.

Perfect Location for Visiting the Basque Coast

St Jean de Luz is an interesting town with combining well the European beach life with interesting historical sites. We very much enjoyed our stay and have nothing but positive feedback. We rented the three bedroom flat on the second floor and it was more than enough space for a family of four with two teenage boys. The flat is meticulously clean and well furnished. The kitchen is huge, American sized, with a dishwasher, modern stove and a separate dining area. There was also a separate living room with ample seating, two bathrooms with showers and a laundry room. The boys were happy to have WiFi. New TV which we never watched because we were having too much fun doing other stuff. The flat is located close to the beach, one can take local streets to avoid traffic. Supermarket and good patisserie are less than 5 minute drive. Also close to the main highway which made travelling down to Spain and up to Biarritz easy. We also toured the Basque villages. The owners live next door and are very helpful with lots of good advice. They are two of the most gracious people we have encountered in our travels and we will miss them.

Maison parfaite et propriétaires charmants

Merci aux propriétaires pour leurs conseils pour explorer la région et pour leurs divers attentions. Étant avec des grands parents, il etait tres pratique de louer en plus de l'appartement, une maison - studio à côté et donc pouvoir profiter du jardin !

Mme Abadie est très gentille et avec des attentions très appréciables!!( confiture,raisin....).

Le studio est idéal,très bien équipé. Tout ceci pas loin de la plage et sentier du littoral pour rejoindre le centre de saint Jean de luz ou Guéthary.

Juste la route pour descendre à la plage à pied est pas génial car peu de trottoirs.........et le train à côté mais qu on oublie au bout de deux jours.

Je recommande cette location !

Petit coin douillet du Pays Basque

Tout d'abord mille merci aux propriétaires qui sont des personnes adorables, très attentifs à vos demandes.De plus grâce à eux nous avons découverts des lieux magiques. The studio apartment for rent are at St Jean de Luz, in the heart of the Basque Country, 800m from the ocean and the nearest beach.

The location of this property is attractive by the proximity of the national and the motorway A 63 on one side, which makes direct access to all directions, especially towards the Spanish border and cities like San Sebastian, Hondarribia or Bilbao.

On the other side, the ocean and a small road lined with plane trees

leads directly to the beaches which follow one another along the coast, on foot, en10mn, or car.

Following the Sentier du Littoral built to overlook the ocean, you can make beautiful walks and reach the town center from Saint Jean de Luz by Pointe Sainte Barbe, which offers magnificent views of the bay, the surrounding mountains and Spanish Basque coast.

The thalassotherapy center and the casino at the edge of the bay, coastal botanical garden that you can visit on the way, are then on our way.

Surfers will find good waves on beaches that stretch north to Guéthary Bidart.

The district, at the northern entrance of the city, and 2 km from the center, however, has everything at his disposal and nearby: large supermarkets and 'drives' small shops including bakeries, bars and fast food restaurants or gastronomic.

There's something for everyone.

Are lovely walks to do in the surrounding mountains overlooking the ocean and climb Rhune or take the famous train ride is a must.

A trip to the pass Ibardin nearby, will take on the Spanish border with its famous ventas offering souvenirs, restaurants, bars, and also beautiful views.

When the weather is less forgiving, you have the opportunity to visit the nearest villages with evocative names like Ascain, Sare, Ainhoa, Biriatou Ciboure, Itxassou, jam and cherry, and AOC Espelette pepper.

All are witnesses to the Basque culture alive through his tongue, half-timbered houses, songs and dances, and pelota. Around the pediment include the church, the mayor and shops. The festivals are numerous and you will see dancers and ball players.

You can also taste the local produce hams, cheeses, wines Irouleguy, Espelette pepper, wine or sparkling apple cider on and taste the famous macaroons and pastries muxus of St Jean de Luz.
