About Marji Keith (owner)

Marji lives part year on Bonaire and part year in Madison Wisconsin, USA. She spent almost 9 years living full time on the island, raising three kids there. She has also lived in New York City and Italy. Marji owns a total of three rental units in Bonaire, all at Caribbean Court. She speaks fluent Italian, pretty good French and some Papiamento, Dutch and Spanish.

Why Marji Keith (owner) chose Kralendijk

Location, Location, Location. Marji bought these (three) properties after having lived in New York, Milan and Rome. She was used to living in apartments, walking to get places and enjoying the company of a neighbor or two. Caribbean Court couldn't be further away from those big cities - but owning a gorgeous apartment within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants (not to mention the beach!) made the transition from big city to small Caribbean Island just a little easier.

What makes this apartment unique

The location is quiet! No street noise with the canal on one side and just our small parking lot and swimming pool on the other. The top floor location of this property makes it very safe. The screened in terrace really seals the deal. Combined with the fact that the apartment faces right into the trade winds this makes for incredible breezes, very few mosquitos and a relaxing place to come home to after a day of diving, kiting, windsurf or adventure on Bonaire. Extras like a washing machine for your clothes, designer linens and some unique artwork are unlikely to be found at other similarly priced rentals. The central location on the island means you have easy walking or driving access to everything Bonaire offers, including beaches, dive sites, windsurfing, kite surfing, restaurants and shops. OK - so we're biased - but we highly recommend it!

Great Apartment at Caribbean Court !

We had a wonderful 7 night stay at an apartment at the Caribbean Court complex, booked via Breezy Bonaire.

We booked a 1 BR apartment on the 3rd floor, which had a large LR, open kitchen, and a screen porch. Our trip was focused on scuba diving, and we used the excellent Div'Ocean dive shop for our 6 days of boat dives; it is located in the same complex as the apartments, so it was just a short stroll each morning to get on the boat.

The apartment has A/C only in the BR, but that wasn't a problem since we had good cross-breezes via the front door and and the porch. All of the furnishings were comfortable and in good condition. We used the kitchen for breakfasts, lunch and snacks and all the needed kitchen utensils were there (we didn't cook any meals, but there were pots and pans also). The apartment was clean and I didn't see any insects, even in the kitchen. We saw a few other folks staying at the complex but we our apartment was very quiet.

I should also add that the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, which has not been our experience at other places we've stayed in Bonaire.

We stored our dive equipment at the Dive Shop, however the porch at the apartment was useful for drying our bathing suits and snorkel gear. There was a large fold-out drying rack and also a place to hang longer wetsuits if needed.

There is a small pool onsite but we didn't use it.

We rented a car which was useful for touring and also for dinners out - there are not many restaurants within walking distance so I think a car (or taxis) would be needed by most travelers.

We will definitely book an apartment here, next time we plan a dive trip with Div'Ocean !

Perfect apartment for us!

We stayed here for 2 weeks this spring and it was perfect for us. The apartment is very spacious and loaded with extras: screened in porch overlooking the waterway (perfect for enjoying your morning coffee!) a fully equipped kitchen, all linens including beach towels (and folding beach chairs,) comfortable furniture, reliable wi-fi and a cell phone for our use, already pre-loaded with minutes! We never used the AC because having the windows and front door open provided a cooling breeze. Marji is a wonderful host, easy to work with and very accommodating. We needed flippers for snorkeling and she loaned us what she had. My husband is a windsurfer and she even gave him a few pointers (she is an excellent windsurfer!) Great location, a very good restaurant right across the road, and a couple more just a short walk away. You can even walk to town if you so desire. Will definitely stay here again or in any other property she has on the island.

Extremely Comfortable

We have stayed with Marji several times now. The apartment is very spacious and clean with nice views. The trade winds keep the unit refreshed and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. We were here for windsurfing and snorkeling and had a great time at both. Thanks for another lovely stay Marji!

Simply Awesome

This is the third time we have stayed with Marji. The first place was great. No complaints. The second one had a Hammock! Best nites sleep ever. The third time we stayed in the what we now call "The hammock Apartment". The Apartment was clean and extremely comfortable. It was great having a full kitchen with utensils. We will definitely stay with Marji every time we come to Bonaire. Thanks Marji! See you Oct 2016 for the Hammock Apartment!

The location of the apartment complex cannot be beat. Walking distance to beaches, hotels, restaurants and shops but at the same time very quiet. No street noise since one side of your apartment is on the parking and pool side and the other is on a quiet canal where maybe one or two boats go by per day on their way out for a day on the Caribbean Sea a few hundred meters away. The apartment is situated on the top floor, directly into the wind and in addition to that enjoys sunrise on the water side and sunset on the pool/garden/parking side. There are terraces on both sides of the apartment.
