About the property

The property is a two bedroom house that can host four people comfortably.  The property is divided on three floors.  The ground floor houses the kitchen, Living room and dining room.  The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and oven for guests to cook comfortably at the apartment.  The first bedroom is on the second floor and the third bedroom is on the third floor.  The property has a small patio on the ground floor and a traditional balcony.  Guests also have use of a private roof.

The property is situated in the south of the city facing Sliema creek.  A short walk away guests find themselves in the historic area of the Madraggio, which historically housed the builders who serviced the Knights of St John.Valletta, Malta’s capital and a World Heritage site, is nothing short of an open-air museum. It is a living experience of Baroque architecture, a monument donated by the Knights of St John nearly five centuries ago. Throughout the years, Valletta has welcomed emperors, heads of state, artists and poets and is now the permanent seat of the Maltese government. Dotted with quaint cafés and wine bars, the city is today one of Malta’s main tourist attractions, hosting among others, the majestic St John’s Co- Cathedral, the imposing bastions and a treasure of priceless paintings. It also provides a stunning snapshot of Malta’s Grand Harbour, often described as the most beautiful in the Mediterranean. The city’s unique setting nowadays plays host to a series of cultural events, from theatre in English, to concerts by leading opera singers. A hive of business activity during the day, the city switches to a slower gear for the night. Use it to your advantage to get away from the noise and take a stroll to admire the magic of the fortified capital amplified by the gentle lighting. Admire the bastion walls, the dense clusters of worn limestone buildings, the timber balconies, and imposing Churches. The Renzo Piano–designed City Gate, Parliament Building and Opera House have changed the cityscape and galvanised it into life. These sights, along with Valletta's status as European Capital of Culture for 2018, have seen the city reborn, with new museums, restored golden-stone fortresses, and new hotels, bars and restaurants in converted 16th-century mansions. Valletta's outskirts are even worth a visit: take the beautiful ferry trip to the Three Cities and or visit the astounding prehistoric Hal Saflieni Hypogeum.

Public transport is a 5 minute walk from the property. Parking for car hire is on street.  There is also a public ferry crossing to Sliema which is 5 minutes away from the apartment.  Crossing over onto the other side of Valletta (15 mins walk) there is a public ferry crossing to Birgu, one of the historic three cities.

Available 24x7x365 for anything that you will require. Baby cot available on request and should it not be used by other guests. Kindly let me know at least 5 days in advance. If you are arriving from 20.00 till 07.00 an airport transfer organised by City Living is mandatory. The transport service used by City Living knows the location of the apartment and there is no risk that guests get lost. To advise if guest is hiring a car. Will print boarding passes if needed and deliver to your apartment at the cost of 5 Eur.  An environment tax €0.50c per person for each night spent on the Maltese Islands at any type of accommodation including hotels, guesthouses, hostels, resorts, apartments, farmhouses, timeshare and host families, amongst others. The contribution is capped at a maximum of €5 for each continuous stay.
