Well equipped 2 bed cottage adjoining the former Mill House
About Jenny Millar
We moved up to Warwickshire from London in 2017 with our two young children and love the country lifestyle! We are the Millars so it seems very appropriate to live in Mill House on Mill Lane. Looking forward to welcoming you.
Jenny Millar purchased this Bungalow in 2017
Why Jenny Millar chose Bidford-on-Avon
This 2-bed cottage adjoins the former Mill House (with private entrance and off-street parking) in the beautiful village of Broom in Warwickshire.

Home from Home
We had a very comfortable stay. The furnishings were very good and everything was sleek and clean. This was an ideal base for exploring the many tourist attractions nearby and the village itself had two great pubs both serving excellent food.
Just about the perfect place.
We stayed with Mum who is 95 and so it was important that we had ground floor bedrooms. Perfect. It has a lot going for it as ground floor bedrooms aren't easy to come by. It was lovely. No complaints.
I suppose if we were really picky you'd say the light switch in the bathroom is located in an odd place. The tap in the bathroom sink can be fierce, resulting in some of the water going where it wasn't intended! However, that would be picky.
All in all it's a great place and we fully intend staying there again. The kitchen is more than adequate and a lot of thought has gone into what is in there. The beds are comfortable and it is all wonderfully quiet and peaceful. With Hidcote, Snowshill and a host of other NT properties in close proximity it makes a great place to stay. Well done to the hosts, Jenny and James.
A really lovely cottage with everything we needed to enjoy our weekend stay.
We really enjoyed our weekend in this beautiful cottage set in a quiet and peaceful village. It is a perfect location for visiting surrounding areas. The owners have ensured that you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Communication was great and very prompt leading up to our visit. Many thanks
Super Holiday Cottage in Broom
This a beautiful cottage in a quiet village about 2 miles from
Bidford on Avon which is very pretty. It is very handy for
Stratford on Avon, Warwick (castle), Leamington Spa
and Worcester. We also enjoyed seeing nearby Evesham,
Broadway and Snowshill. At Broadway you make take a
steam train down to Cheltenham Racecourse on the
Gloucester and Warwickshire Railway. Cheltenham is
also a lovely town too.
Our hosts were a young professional couple with
Children. James was particularly assiduous to our
needs and wasn't offended in the least when we
pointed out where the kitchen lacked certain items.
I mentioned that a Microwave Oven would be good
and the following day he installed a brand new one
together with some of the items missing earlier !
We had a lovely Stay and would heartily recommend
this lovely cottage (adjacent to the Owner.
We had a great time visiting outlying areas.
Don't miss Stratford ! Enjoy !
Abeautiful home Everything you need is provided Our host a lovely person
Cottage, location and hosts all lovely
I stayed in the area on business - I far prefer the comfort, quiet and flexibility of self-catering to a standard hotel. Recently I have been lucky enough to find really excellent places, and Mill House Cottage is right up there. Spacious, comfortable and with birdsong the only sound in the morning. Great kitchen, including a dual-energy range! And perfect hosts in Jenny and James (and children! ).
