Set in the heart of our historic city Chichester, Whyke Cottage is the perfect getaway for all the family. With large garden and a driveway you barely notice you are only moments from the hustle and bustle of Chichester's main high street. Close to boutique stores, high street favourites, popular cafés and independent restaurants you can find somewhere new to go every day. Chichester has so much to do including visiting it's grand cathedral with beautiful gardens, make sure to visit our famous Chichester Festival Theatre on the North side of town regularly showing performances before they go to London or why not book yourself your own private shepherd's hut / cinema at our independent New Park Cinema. Whatever age there is something to do nearby or if you want to explore a little further a field you are only a short drive to West Wittering Beach, Goodwood (popular events in include Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival) , The south Downs, Arundel and Brighton. Chichester also has excellent train lines and can get you to London Victoria in an hour and half with no changes!
Whyke Cottage has four bedrooms, three double rooms and one single room as well a ground floor shower room and a family bathroom on the first floor with a shower other the bath. This beautiful holiday let caters for all the family with a good sized, comfortable living room and a wonderful light open dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to self-cater during your stay, that is when not out at one of the many local eateries! Get in touch if you need recommendations!
From the dining room are tall patio doors that open up into the lush green garden. Here are table chairs able to seat six so why not order from ‘deliveroo' and get restaurant food delivered direct to your door that you can enjoy in your own private secluded spot.

Beautiful house

We had a December break to do some Christmas shopping and rest and relaxation. The house had everything we needed. The house is cozy and quiet and shops and restaurants are only a five minute walk away. Chichester town has all the main shops and lots of independent ones too. Belinda is very helpful and friendly.

Lovely house, great location

Belinda, the owner, was very welcoming and gave lots of information beforehand, including some useful recommendations. The house is very nicely decorated and the kitchen is very well equipped. The garden is pleasant and enclosed, with barbecue equipment and outdoor seating. The location is excellent, right in central Chichester. You can walk everywhere and it is a very interesting place to explore. There are regular markets in town which are fun to look at. Chichester is well placed to explore the local area, being within half an hour of many attractions. I would highly recommend Whyke Cottage!

Whyke Cottage in autumn

Comfortable, well-equpped pretty cottage in a very convenient location. The landlady and local manager were friendly and efficient. We felt at home straight away, and had a lovely week. It was warm, too, when the weather turned cooler.

Welcoming house in a central location.

Whyke Cottage is a quiet, comfortable, well-appointed house (with the bonus of off-street parking) within easy walking distance of Chichester town centre. Both the owner and her local caretaker were immensely helpful and prompt in dealing with a couple of queries we had.
