Situated in sunny Sussex, Old Sefter School originates from 1825 when it was the school house for Pagham village. The School was recently rebuilt using, where possible, original building materials to maintain an authentic character property combined with modern comforts.
The annex to Old Sefter School sleeps two and comprises of a well-appointed double bedroom with luxurious en-suite double shower room. There is a brand new fitted kitchen with ceramic hob, built-in oven and refrigerator, microwave, toaster, extractor and solid oak worktops. This is open plan to the lounge/dining area, which has a leather sofa, reclining chair, coffee table, flat screen TV with Freeview and a dining table with chairs. There is solid oak flooring throughout (tiled bathroom) with under floor heating for extra comfort. Outside is a small south facing private patio garden with table, chairs and a BBQ with charcoal and tools provided. There is ample off-road parking.
All bed linen, towels, tea towels and washing-up materials are provided. The owners also offer a complementary welcome tray to include, tea, coffee, wine and fresh eggs from there own hens!
My wife and I come back to the UK once a year to catch up with friends and family, and rather than be a burden we decided to stay in a vacation rental this year. I looked at several options in the Bognor/Chichester area and this came out as the best value, and we also liked the look of the place from the website.
We stayed for just over 3 weeks and were so pleased with the quality of the property and the friendliness of the owners Dale & Francis Stevens, and the little special touches like the fresh eggs from their own chickens & the welcome basket on arrival.
This is an ideal annex for two people - it has all the facilities you need for an extended stay if you wish to cater for yourselves, it is ideally located for Chichester/Bognor Regis and the South coast.
If there was one thing we wished to have had it was a freezer compartment in the fridge - for once it was a pretty good summer in the UK, and a little ice in the G&T in the evening would have made it perfect!!
