About the property

A charming rural country cottage newly renovated to a veryhigh standard in a small hamlet close to Landivy village for up to 6 people. The village consists of local shop, bakers, butchers, post office and bar.

The property is set in beautiful countryside within easy reach of many major towns and villages with a wide selection of lovely walks and activities.

The property is arranged over 2 floors with 2 bedrooms, shower room with wc, separate wc, kitchen, and dining room on the ground floor and a further lounge and bedroom on the first floor. This lounge has a sofa bed, dining table, comfy sofa and English tv.

There is approximately 2 acres of land comprising of fields, play area, decked area, private garden with owners home next door.

Guests will have use of these areas there is also a trampoline, above ground pool, table and chairs, bbq and swings.

Situated 20 minutes from the Ange Michel amusement park, close to the Pontmain Basillica, there are lovely markets on Saturdays at the fortified town of Fougeres, and at Wednesdays at St Hilaire Du Harcouet.

Mont St Michel is approx. 40 minutes away, St Malo, Dinard, Granville and Cancale are all beautiful beaches that can be reached within an hour.

About The Owner

We live on the South coast of England and are very fortunate to have a second home in France - being semi retired allows us to enjoy the peaceful rural countryside and lovely cuisine of the local area in France with the contrast of a little fishing village near Bognor Regis in England.

The Owner purchased this cottage in 2016

Why The Owner chose Landivy

We purchased and renovated our property over a couple of years from 2012 and couldn't resist purchasing the cottage next door as it sits in our land, The 2 properties are situated in approximately 2 acres of open land divided into private garden, decked area, play area and fields, ideal for a very restful family holiday.

What makes this cottage unique

A beautiful area of France within easy reach of many pretty villages and lovely towns.

There are many walking and cycling routes nearby as well as local markets, Churches, and fishing lakes.

Beautiful location, amazing hosts

This property is very spacious and kept very clean. It has just been renovated and is furnished with love. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The owners, Jackie and Graham live in their own cottage next door with their son. If you have ANY questions, they are very accommodating and they had very good recommendations for restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay in his cottage.
