All mod cons i.e .fridge/freezer, cooker, kettle, washing machine, iron, hairdryer, TV, DVD, barbecue and fans, safe. Child friendly - 2 baby travel cots, 1 highchair, 2 stair gates (at no extra cost). I feel in love with Corralejo the first time I visited and El Sultan is a fabulous complex well maintained and kept to a high standard. The property, surrounding area on the complex and pools are well maintained by our management company who take pride it is condition as they live on the complex too. It is a home from home with all mod cons.... well decorated with fabulous red leather L shaped couch, full kitchen and full set of garden furniture so you eat indoors or outdoors whatever you choose. All beds have been upgraded to Hotel Standard mattresses to ensure you have a comfort stay.

What makes this house unique

It is pool facing and it is not overlooked so you can sit in your front terrace in both the ground floor and 1st floor and enjoy beautiful views of the pool and greenery.

Our roof terrace also has fabulous views of both the pools and Lobos Island.

Fab family accommodation with 3 bedrooms. With large roof terrace boasting spectacular views. The villa has its own private car parking space underground. Comprising of 1 double, 2 twin bedrooms, 1 bathroom with bath/shower, WC, bidet, and vanity sink. One set of white towels and linen provided per person included in price. €30 for additional linen change.

Great accommodation in quiet yet convenient location

Booked via Owners Direct site for 1st time and impressed how easy it was. Jackie was instantly responsive to messages and when had issue with missing bedding 1st night resolved this within 20 mins. It is about 30 mins from airport and ample parking on Street at back of property.

Secure as entry via secure locked gate. Entrance to all pools via gates, secure if you have small children.

Pool large and never crowded and is outside property giving easy access to both during day.

Property is large with sitting area for 6, large dinning table for 6 and 3 generous bedrooms with huge wardrobes in each. 2 bathrooms one on ground floor along with twin room and one on second floor with double and twin rooms.

Lots of terrace space, small one to front on the ground, one to rear on ground, large one from double room on 1st flooor and full roof terrace, all with seating. Ideal for sunbathing, sitting out in warm evenings or simply enjoying view.

The apartment is well equipped with full kitchen, large screen TV, internet, ApplebTV, plug in fans, washing machine.

Jackie also has lots of welcoming touches such as sunbeds to use at the pool or on the terraces, body boards, buckets and spades, children's toys, DVD and books.

The property is 5 minute walk to a small selection of bars and cafes / restaurants and about 20 mins to Corralejo centre. The Hiperdino / Mercadona Supermarkets are about 10 minute drive. The water park is a 10 minute walk.

Corralejo is medium sized resort with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. The dunes a fabulous golden sand beach for bodyboarding / surfing , etc is a 10 minute drive or 30 minute walk and well worth a visit.

Overall a large, modern, spacious property, that is well equipped and located for a relaxing holiday by the pool or the beach but close enough to the town to enjoy the shops, restaurants or bars .

I don't leave this review lightly and have been waiting for a resolution, that is clearly not coming, before posting.

We stayed at this house in August 2018 for 2 weeks. Initially the owners were helpful and the house appeared to be beautiful on our arrival.

However, on our first day of the holiday, building work began on the property making the outside areas unusable and unsafe. I reported this to the owner who had been aware of the building work (but hadn't informed us) but was apologetic and said it would be sorted.

In short, it wasn't. Throughout our entire 14 day stay there were builders constantly working on the property, waking our family up at 8.30am every day, using the terraces as a walkthrough to the other villas and a place to store tools. They removed fences and external safety gates meaning there was a 3 storey fall from the roof terrace - not ideal with 3 young children! Builders were also looking in to both ours and our children's bedrooms through the terraces which made it necessary to keep the shutters down at all times - again not ideal. I kept the owners up to date and they advised not to use the propertys outside areas at all.....which continued for our entire stay.

On our return, I made it clear to the owner that I wasn't happy and whilst she had appeared helpful on the surface, once there was a complaint in place she was extremely rude and then ignored me. I was informed by the owner that she would not give us any form of compensation but she would give us a credit note towards a 'free' week.....however, she later withdrew this offer (conveniently after she knew about our complaint) saying we had damaged the property. This was completely untrue but obviously a way for the owners to not only get out of offering compensation but also a way of withholding some of our security deposit! This was a final kick in the teeth.

I made an official complaint through HomeAway and whilst they have this on record, they cannot enforce compensation, just recommend it - which the owners declined. We are now pursuing legal action against the owners.

I have images of all of the building work and copies of rude messages sent by the owner which are available to view online if you search for them.....

In conclusion, the El Sultan complex is lovely, the pool area is great for kids but there are MANY other holiday lets on this complex and other complexes - if you want a hassle free holiday, book one of those instead!

Owner's Response: This review is wholly inaccurate, and I am now glad of my right to reply. There was external painting and plastering work conducted on the El Sultan complex during their stay involving mine and 7 other properties which were initiated by the complex maintenance . In recognition of the inconvenience caused I offered the guest a free week's accommodation . The guest rejected this outright, and instead wanted a free independent holiday (flights, hotel etc). This was in conflict with their previously notes advising of their great enjoyment of their holiday at my villa. They later threatened me with a deliberately negative review if I did not exceed to all of their demands. As advised at the top of this note Thank you for reading my explanatory right of reply.

Very good!

Stayed at the villa in December 2017. Villa is in good location and very spacious. Jackie has been very helpfull and responded to all queries very quickly. Overall, really enjoyed our stay at this villa.

Having just returned from this fantastic holiday home. I can honestly say it's a fabulous place to stay. Great location and maintained by the owners to a high standard. Close to everything in a lovely gated community. You really do not want for anything and Jackie helps you through step by step to private renting. We absolutely loved staying here 10/10 !

Lovely spacious property on a lovely complex

We stayed at Casa Twiss for the past 2 weeks it was a beautiful spacious property. It was very well equipped and we wanted for nothing. There was plenty of space outside for relaxing. The pool area was beautiful and cleaned daily. There was always plenty of room around the pool. Jackie the owner was most helpful before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this property for a family holiday

Prices are for the property per week in euros. 25% deposit on booking (non refundable). Balance due 6 weeks prior to visit. 200 euros breakage deposit, fully refundable and returned on post visit inventory check if there is no damage or missing inventory. If more than 6 guests than an excess of €100 applies but this can be negotiated. Please note that all charges for Paypal or transaction processing must be covered by the guest.
