Ideally located, spacious Apartment
Gino is a great host of a superb property. We are a family of 4 with 2 boys 12 and 14. The WiFi worked well, so all good for them!!
The apartment is fully equipped for every need. Showers, toilets galore! Kitchen with everything you need, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, decent hob and oven. There was also great supplies eg. oil, vinegar, sugar, coffee, washing up materials etc. Decent hairdryer, iron and board, TV, all great! It is very spacious with high ceilings and a quality feel.
I found the bed very comfy, my partner thought rather firm, you can't please all! Also the flat is quiet, as does not face the street, however no views to look on to. Go outside and walk a short distance and there are no end of photo opportunities and Roman wonder!
The situation of the apartment means you really can walk everywhere. We did the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Colosseum, Vatican and wondered around endless ancient, beautiful buildings with no need for bus or train. We did take the Metro to the Vatican but easily walked back.
Highly recommended. Gino really cares that you have a good time. We did!
Jackie and her family have been very nice and likeable guests. Very easy the check-in, just few minutes to give her information about the stay. Perfect communication by whatsapp, always in contact. We have fixed the check-out and it was a delight to meet her for greetings. Honestly Jackie is very recommended guest.
It will be always a pleasure to invite her for next holiday in Rome.
Beautiful Apartment & Awesome Host
Gino is one of the best host that we have met. He was available to help whenever we needed any. Thank you Gino for making our stay pleasant.
Apartment was very nice and clean. It had everything that we needed for 2 kids.
Loved our stay!!
We had a wonderful time! Gino's apartment is well located and a lovely and comfortable home away from home with the modern conveniences but with touches of old world charm. Gino was a very gracious host and offered great advice to help make our short visit to Rome a great experience. He arranged a driver, Aldo, to pick us up from the airport and take us right to the apartment. Aldo also took us on a private evening tour of the city starting with dinner outside the tourist area where we enjoyed an authentic Italian meal. We very much enjoyed our stay and will recommend this location to our friends and family. Ciao Gino and Aldo!
Excellent location- very comfortable apartment
Gino was a wonderful host who greeted us promptly and took his time to review the apartment and neighborhood amenities. I highly recommend staying in this quiet, comfortable apartment that is close to a metro station, excellent restaurants and shops, and a quick walk to the sights of Roma.
An absolute must if going to Rome
This unit is amazing! LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! And the owner, Gino is a GEM! He was so welcoming and inviting. He made us coffee, showed us everything about the unit! AND he left us food: Breakfast (including coffee!) & Dinner. I really cannot say enough GOOD STUFF about this place. Thank you Gino for everything! When we come back to Rome, we will be coming home!!!
A charming apartment and exceptional host!
Welcome in Spanish Steps is just that! This apartment is in a great location, a short walk up the hill to the Spanish steps and Villa Borghese with its park and museums, downhill to Trevi Fountain and the shops and restaurants. The apartment is true to the pictures, charming, clean and well equipped.
Gino is an excellent host. Even before we arrived, he answered many questions and assisted us in planning. He patiently awaited our arrival though we were delayed by well over 3 hours in getting to the apartment and was so generous in stocking the cupboard that we had no need to rush out for staples. He took time to patiently teach us how to make Italian coffee, utilize appliances and oriented us to the area with suggestions for where to eat local...all great!
Gino was always available for questions and advice throughout our stay. He set up airport and taxi rides for our adult children and us and advised on the experiences not to be missed. One of these we would recommend is a short walk up the hill past the Spanish steps to the Casina Valadier that overlooks the city. It has a lovely restaurant and terrace, perfect for an evening cocktail and sunset viewing of the city. One other convenience for this location is the proximity to the metro stops. Rome has a limited metro; whenever they dig they discover more history so underground trains are not at all pervasive. But this location is close to a couple which can provide access to more distant areas of the city. Thank you, Gino, for making our first days in Rome so welcoming!
