About the property

A great holiday apartment close to the beaches of Marbella and Puerto Banus

This family friendly, spacious two bedroom, two bathroom ground floor apartment is just 15 minutes walk from the centre of beautiful Puerto Banus and it's surrounding beaches (or 5 minutes by taxi, bus also available next to complex). The apartment has recently been re-decorated to a high standard with modern furnishings.

The apartment is not suitable for hen or stag parties and does not encourage enquiries from such groups. This is for the benefit of our neighbours, holiday guests and the community as a whole.

The apartment has a large lounge/dining room with comfortable settees, Smart 4K TV, and a dining table that comfortably seats 6. The kitchen includes all the electrical appliances you will need, including cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, electric kettle, microwave, toaster, crockery, cutlery, utensils.The en-suite master bedroom is equipped with a double size bed, whilst the second bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms are generous in size. There is also a main bathroom which has bath, shower, bidet and toilet . The lounge/Diner has a large sofa bed that comfortably sleeps two. All rooms have air-conditioning.

The apartment is gated with a patio accessed directly both from the kitchen and the lounge area. It is ideally suited for a family with young children as the pool areas are a short walk away. The apartment is centrally placed with very little passing foot traffic - ideal for a quiet meal or drink on the patio.

From La Maestranza it's a leisurely 15-20 minute walk into Puerto Banus and Marbella and San Pedro are 10 minutes away by car. For the more adventurous both Gibraltar and Ronda are worth visiting - both 60 minutes drive from the apartment. Every Saturday, only 5 minutes away, a colourful and vibrant open air market is held around the Bullring near the Centro Plaza.

The apartment is ideal for golfers with some of the best golf courses on the Costa del Sol nearby. These include Los Naranjos, Las Brisas, La Quinta, Rio Real and Aloha. Within a 30 minute drive you can play at San Roque, Sotogrande, La Cala or Valderrama...the choices are endless.

Why Suky Sidhu chose Nueva Andalucía

After much looking around the area we fell in love with the apartment almost immediately. It is close to Puerto Banus yet far enough to avoid the glitz and the hedonistic glamour. Marbella is only a few minutes away whilst Gibraltar, Ronda, Malaga at the most an hour by car. The complex itself is very clean and well maintained. It's not huge, yet has facilities that would suit a place much more built up. The 3 pools offer an opportunity for all ages to swim or just dip in the safe knowledge of a pool guard during the busier periods of the year.

If you enjoy eating the area is a foodies heaven. There are many restaurants nearby, Spanish as well as non Spanish, and each to suit the holiday makers budget. However, to truly enjoy Iberian cooking at it's best it's worth taking a drive to Benahavis. The village is famed for not only the number of restaurants, but the quality of food on offer...and all without breaking the bank! Truly a food lovers heaven on earth.

The area is also famed for it's golf. Nearby there is Las Brisas, La quinta and Los Naranjos. A little further Rio Real, Sotogrande, Valdarrama, Alcadaisa and San Roque. Most of these courses I have played more than once and will happily offer my opinion should it be needed.

Lastly, for the lover of art and culture the area is unparalleled. There are the Dali sculptures near the beach in Marbella. A little further up the road is the Picasso Museum in Malaga and a little further even, the delights of Granada with the Alhambra, a UNESCO world heritage site.

What makes this apartment unique

Our property is ideal for a couple wanting a bit of me time or a family with young children. The apartment is in the middle of the complex and is reached from both sides by two flights of steps. From the garage there is a lift adjacent to the apartment. The pools are close by but far enough to make it worry free for wandering and inquisitive youngsters. It's also worth noting the apartment is gated and can be secured should young children wish to use the patio.

The patio is planted with orange and lemon trees, with vibrant bougainvillea surrounding the front, allowing complete privacy from terrace. There are views of La Concha, the highest mountain in the Marbella area. La Concha is another perfect reason to visit the area. The drive there takes you through mountain slopes covered in beautiful Spanish Pine to a hunting lodge frequented by Franco during his rule after the Civil War. Here you can park and take a walk through through olive groves and alpine meadows to a view point looking over Marbella and towards Gibraltar and the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.

The apartment is also very close to a Mercadona supermarket, a pharmacy and a bank too. There are a number of restaurants and pleasant wine bars surrounding the complex. Up the hill there is the Centro Plaza offering a good choice of restaurants, cafes and bars. A great place to watch the setting sun over the Mediterranean whilst sipping a beer or two.

The La Maestranza complex is a gated community and has 24 hour security.

Lovely Neuva Andalucia

The apartment was perfect for our family. Plenty of room and well equipped. Suki and Kulwant were so easy to deal with both before and during our stay and so was Helen who our initial person to contact when we were there. The complex is gorgeous and the position perfect! I would definitely come back again!

Nice apartment with a lot of space

We rented the apartment for a holiday with the family (2 adults and 3 kids) for 10 days. We enjoyed the our stay very much.

It is a very nice urbanization with 2 pool areas. The apartment had a lot of space, both in the living room and the bedrooms. We also appreciated the patio on the outside very much.

The apartment felt clean and well mintained and everything worked out well for us. The one time we had to contact the customar service (to understand were to park our car) were they very easy to get in touch with and very helpful.

My stay at La Mastranza

Stayed at La Mastranza with my son daughter and grandaughter for seven nights the apartment is brilliant two bedrooms one with on suite super large living and dining area with 3 settees one which makes a double bed large dining table kitchen has microwave washing machine and dishwasher cooker /oven perfect for families outside patio area has table and chairs perfect for al fresco dining local to the complex are supermarket resturants and bars and pueto banus is a short walk away the complex has 3 pool areas which my grandaughter enjoyed greatly we had a brilliant time her and would highly recommend.

There are many things to see and do away from the immediate area. There are water parks near Fuengirola and Benalmadena, For those wishing to enjoy dolphin and whale spotting there are many boats leaving Puerto Banus, Marbella and Estepona on a regular basis.

If water is not your thing there is Selwo Safari Park nearby. Well worth a visit.

The La Maestranza complex is a gated community and has 24 hour security.
