The house is an old German (pre-war building) in a quiet residential area. The house has 3 apartments. The apartments have an individual entrance, so no one will be inconvenienced. Before the war, this area was called Charlottenburg and adjoined Tannenwald (now the village of Chkalovsk). This settlement was created in the thirtieth year of the last century, and the name inherited from a nearby knightly estate. The last owner of this estate, Max Hein, sold land for building. The main street of the village he named in his honor - Heinstrasse. In Tannenwald and Charlottenburg buses regularly went. There was also a railway station Charlottenburg - there were trains running along the Samland road in the direction of Rauschen (Svetlogorsk). In addition, in these small, neat settlements there were restaurants and shops, a school (in Tannenwalde - folk, ie eight-year). In Charlottenburg it was planned to build a gymnasium, but because of the Second World War, plans changed. Now Charlottenburg is a rapidly developing area of Kaliningrad, as it is the main direction to the main resorts of the region. On the map of the city you can see by the name "Lermontovskiy settlement".
