Fantastic house, stunning views, great location

  • 5 of 5

Prospect House was everything we had hoped and more for our family Christmas get together. The house has been completed refurbished and so everything was sparkly and new and the owners have thought of thought of absolutely everything including a kitchen which is so well fitted out with all we needed to cook a Christmas lunch – certainly the best equipped rental we have stayed in. Extra touches like a Christmas tree and lights made our stay even more special and the owners went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed for our grand children.

The location and views from the windows are stunning, The house is directly on the loch with amazing views across the loch to the mountains. It has private access down to the shoreline where our grand children loved playing on the shore and on the rocks and had plenty of space to run about the garden. We were lucky with the weather and the sun, snow on mountains and large windows made the views even more impressive.

Arrochar itself was a great location, there’s a great pub that we found(The village Inn) a brisk walk down the loch and we headed further afield to Loch Fyne which is less than 30 mins drive through some fantastic scenery. We managed a few walks during our time but there so many walks we could do we are planning to come back for another visit and would definitely stay at Prospect House again. Highly recommended.
