This cellar, which dates back to the Middle Ages, is now a comfortable apartment with space for 1-6 people. A romantic place to spend the night and enjoy the boats coming by on the (public) terrace under tall trees. The apartment is located in the middle of the museum quarter, has its own entrance and consists of 2 cellars in total (total 80 m2). A residential cellar with a double sofa bed and a sleeping cellar with 4 single beds. The adjacent kitchen has a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and ceramic hob. There is a private bathroom with shower and toilet.
The apartment has central heating and because windows can open on both sides it is never stale or damp. There is free Wi-fi. All sights of the city, shops, restaurants, cafes, museums and also the central station are within walking distance of 1 to 15 minutes.
There is always something special to do in the city, there are many festivals, it is fun to explore the canals and canals by canoe, water bike or tour boat and along the Krommerijn you walk in 10 minutes from the city to the estate Amelisweerd. For the children it is fun to go to the railway museum, the Nijntje museum or the museum play clock, Utrecht is a great home base to explore other cities. In half an hour you are by train in the heart of Amsterdam. And then it is wonderful to come home again in the somewhat small-scale, but certainly so nice Utrecht in the unique cellar at a beautiful location on the water.
