The properties are genuine Finnish log cabins built to a traditional standard, which means well insulated and double-glazed. The Karelia Cottage Sleeps 5 persons and Viipuri Sleeps 7 persons and are located 80 yards apart in their own private gardens, with terraces looking over the Forests and gardens, and both their own private hot SPAs, which are sunk into the terrace decking allowing you to chill out in your own privacy, 2 meters from the cabins.
Situated on the edge of the New Forest and close to the south coast, our cottages stand in four acres of tranquil mature woodland. There are many colourful rhododendrons and azaleas which look particularly beautiful in the Spring and early Summer.
Both cottages have spacious living areas with direct access to covered verandas, and second terraces with their own private SPAs. The kitchens have microwaves, ovens, hobs and fridges. The bathrooms have shower units over the baths and washing machines.
The covered verandas have seating areas, BBQs and garden furniture. The cottages have their own generous private gardens and ample room for parking.
Heating, hot water, electricity along with bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Both cottages have their own free WIFI.
Sauna & Fireplace – a traditional Finnish wood-fired sauna is available for hire at £20 per session, which we will heat and prepare for you. The experience includes a sauna, a shower room and a relaxation and living area with its own wood-burning stove. The pool is directly accessible from the sauna.
The pool is heated from April until October (weather permitting), and is primarily for sauna users but also for general use in the Summer. Children must be supervised at all times.
Games building – this building has a full-sized snooker table that is available to guests. Children are admitted at the discretion of the management. Guests are asked to pay for the overhead lights via a £1 coin meter.
Our land offers direct access to the Ringwood forest that means cycling, hiking and wildlife watching are literally on your doorstep. Many species of birds make their home with us and often deer, rabbits and squirrels are sighted.
Ringwood is five minutes drive away. The town has many cafe's, restaurants and pubs, and holds a market every Wednesday. It also has 3 supermarkets and a range of small shops to interest everybody.
