About the property

Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, large lounge, American kitchen, WiFi

Our lovely two bedroom, two bathroom air conditioned apartment (with WiFi) is on the fourth floor and has wonderful sea views over the Bay of Santa Ponsa. The spacious lounge/dining room is comfortably furnished with easy chairs, coffee tables, television (with SKY channels) and at the rear dining table and chairs. The American style kitchen is very well equipped with a utility room off.

The large covered balcony can be accessed either from the lounge or from bedroom 1.

The apartment is approached by either lift or stairs, which can also be used to access the large, beautifully maintained pool and the gardens. There is a sizeable sunbathing area with parasols and sunbeds provided and also access to the sea via steps.

Winter holidays: Our comfortable apartment is also available for winter stays. Although Santa Ponsa is not as lively there are always shops, restaurants and bars open. It is also an ideal base from which to explore the rest of this beautiful island.

Although we are very happy to welcome both elderly or infirm guests the access is not perhaps suitable for wheelchairs.

Excellent Stay

We also stayed her in August 2011. The setting of these apartments really are fantastic, the view is wonderful and it was great to sit on the large balcony and watch the activity in the bay. I wont repeat all the facts of the previous review, but what made this for us was the abillity to swim and snorkel directly in the sea 5 yards from my lounger and then shower and go in the pool all without getting sandy ! We also hired a small boat and went round the adjacent Islands which was also fantastic. Santa ponsa itself is a nice resort setting but has probably oversold itself to the Irish/British market, there are some nice places to eat and Palma etc is not too far away. However I would stress again what made this holiday for us was the apartment sertting and would not hesitate to recommend a stay here

We stayed in the apartment in August 2011 and I have to say that it was perfect.

The location is ideal, halfway between the main town and the Square. There's a lovely bakery opposite for bread, pastries etc. and a decent selection of bars in both directions up and down the street. To the back is a good-sized pool (private for the apartment block) and a concrete terrace with sunbeds that are padlocked to the parasol - key provided. Beyond the terrace is the sea, with steps provided for those not prepared to just jump in.

The apartment is very spacious, much more so than you'd get through a holiday company, and extremely comfortable. Everything you could possibly need is provided - fridge-freezer, oven, hob, microwave, washing machine and hairdryers are all on site and all pretty up to date. The air conditioning is awesome, and a real treat to come "home" to each afternoon!

One slight negative (and it is only slight) - The power restrictions in Majorca mean that running the washing machine at the same time as anything else is a problem because there's a fuse box that clicks on/off automatically to keep the usage down. However, a bit of patience is all that's required - we ended up doing the washing when we were out or in bed.

All in all, if you're looking for somewhere wonderful to stay in Santa Ponsa then you couldn't do better than this.

Our fantastic front-line 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment has views overlooks the Bay of Santa Ponsa, with its large, safe, sandy beach, which is within easy reach. It is south facing thus perfect for a year round holiday. The apartment has dual cool/warm air conditioning, which can be supplemented, if required, in the winter by an attractive fire set within the chimney breast in the lounge area.

The covered terrace is well furnished with sun loungers, table and chairs - perfect for watching the sunset!

The resort is within easy reach of the capital city Palma, golf courses, Marineland, Water Parks.
