We had a lovely time staying in Spruce Cottage and visiting Denali Nature Park each day! Thanks!
Cozy and private
Enjoyed our stay here very much. Cozy, very clean, and private. Very affordable rates within short distance to Denali National Park and a grocery/gas store. Hosts provided a variety of breakfast foods and drinks. Enjoyed watching the snowshoe bunnies from the porch.
Lovely cabin, responsive host(ess), good location
Not enough ventilation in the out-facility, but the rest was a great experience. Surprisingly spacious for 2 people, clean. Everything necessary is available in the cabin. Unexpected amount of food was included into the rate. Good reception for the smartphone
Beautiful cabin and location
The cabin was quaint, cozy and charming. At the same time, it provided really appreciated/helpful amenities and touches-bear spray, binoculars, tin foil for sandwiches, some fruit and hot cocoa/cereals. Loved the white board with the "welcome Rebecca and Luke" sign-so personalized! It's about a 14-20 min drive to Denali from the cabin, so excellent location. Well recommended!
Dry cabin wondrful break
This is a small cabin with lots of character, and even breakfast with hot or cold cereal, bagels, coffee or hot chocolate, and fresh fruit. The bed was comfortable, and the walk to the outhouse in the "night" was amazing, because of the light in the sky. The only thing we could have wished for was more hooks on the walls for drying rain gear and towels.
Convenient and private
This dry cabin is a fun experience and we loved the convenience of being just 15-20 mins from Denali National Park and away from the crowds. Be sure to bring your drinking water and a little extra water for personal needs. We enjoyed sitting on the porch each night looking at the mountains and watching the bunnies in the meadow. We cooked our meals at the cabin (seriously, we had coconut shrimp one night!). We hiked Denali and enjoyed visiting Black Bear Coffee shop in Denali as a special treat. The cabin is cute and the owners graciously provided fruit, yogurt, and bagels and milk along w several other items. We recommend this place as a great base for your Denali trip!
