Abercromby Place is situated amidst the Georgian elegance of Edinburgh's 'New Town', and only five minutes walk from the world famous Princes Street.

These beautifully furnished apartments are in a central, but quiet, location, and within easy walking distance of many restaurants and most tourist attractions. The larger Ground Floor apartment comprises 2 double bedrooms (with an optional fold out bed in the larger bedroom), large kitchen/dining/sitting room and shower-room. The smaller 1 bedroom Lower Ground (not basement) apartment comprises large dining/sitting room with comfortable bed settee, kitchen, bedroom and en-suite shower room. With the bedrooms situated at the back of the house, and in quiet building, our accommodation is ideal for couples or a families.

Both apartments are tastefully furnished, with excellent amenities. Facilities include television, internet broadband, washing machine, drying machine, dishwasher, DVD player and CD player. All guests receive a welcome pack of food on arrival.

The apartment at 26A Abercromby Place in Edinburgh was much more than we expected. It is a very clean, beautifully decorated unit and included a washer and dryer . It was better stocked than we expected, and offered a quiet place to rest. Besides being centrally located, it was very close to a bus line, making it perfect for our site-seeing excursions. Our “proprietress” Veronique Johnston, was a gem, answering all our questions, providing helpful options for our dining trips and making certain that our needs were met. We can hardly wait for our next trip back to Edinburgh, and this will be the only apartment we will consider renting! Thanks again Veronique!

Couldn't fault anything about our stay at the apartment - it was so central and finished to a very high standard. The owner has thought of everything and goes the extra mile to ensure a relaxing stress free stay!

Wonderful!

Bathed in light, so open, cheery, clean, and even larger than appeared in the pictures -- we were just so thrilled to have the opportunity to stay here. There even were fresh breakfast treats in the refrigerator! Every time we returned from exploring Edinburgh to this luxurious flat, we truly felt like we were home. We hated to leave --- it is very comfortable in every aspect, and so perfectly located -- everything is convenient. If you have the opportunity to stay here, you won't be dissappointed.

Gorgeous apartment in central Edinburgh

We stayed for 3 nights in July 2016, 2 adults and 2 kids. This is a beautiful ground floor apartment, very spacious, decorated and furnished with style throughout. The lounge /kitchen is huge with comfy seating for 6+ people and the kitchen is sleek and modern. Both bedrooms are large, both doubles - and we had an extra single in the larger room too. Great location for all the sights in Edinburgh - 5-10 min walk to Princes St, and lots of lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

Comfort + Covenience = Perfection

We arrived late morning and Veronique's daughter greeted us warmly and assisted with our luggage. Veronique said that the apartment would be ready in a couple of hours, so we set off to explore the neighborhood. Upon our return she asked if we had any questions and made sure we had her phone number.

The apartment was immaculate, tastefully decorated and had so many thoughtful touches to make it feel like home - - comfortable beds, excellent shower, big fluffy towels and a Krups coffee pot. The kitchen was a dream and included a washer and dryer.

There is a Tesco Express within two blocks. The neighborhood is quiet and has many restaurants and cafes.

We did have a rental car but seldom used it. We would not hesitate to return and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Edinburgh is a clean, vibrant and friendly city and we loved our time here.

Beautiful accomodation

This is a lovely, bright well equipped apartment with large comfortable rooms. We discovered an array of groceries had been left for us which were very gratefully received. Such a pleasure to stay here, very central for Edinburgh,s attractions & the owner was particularly helpful with parking. We would not hesitate to return

Quality Apartment and Location

We had a three night stay and were very pleased with the standard of this well equipped and comfortable apartment. Thank you Veronique for your friendly and helpful approach, nothing was to much trouble for you. Sorting out parking and an early arrival to leave luggage was all accommodated.

Having some food provided was helpful and saved us buying breakfast and basic refreshments and would be great for late arrivals.

Great position for easy access to central Edinburgh.

We are only 5 mins from Princes St in Edinburgh's elegant New Town area, and within walking distance of all the main tourist sights such as Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace. The apartment is in a quiet location but still close to many restaurants and shops.

Abercromby Place is very central: less than 10 minutes walk from Waverley Station and 5 minutes from the Bus Station.

Parking in a nearby lane can be reserved in advance at no extra cost.
