We moved here in 2013 from the Northeast and fell in love with this area. Our dream had been to find the perfect beach getaway. We found exactly what we were looking for at The Palms of Treasure Island.

Treasure Island has so much to offer and all within walking distance of our beautiful condo. We love it here at The Palms and we know that you will too.

Perfect location, great property

We loved our stay at Melissa’s condo. The Palms property itself is a little dated, but once we opened the door we knew we’d chosen the right spot. The condo feels spacious and has a layout that acccommodated our family of four perfectly. We spent a ton of time out on the balcony overlooking the pool and waterway looking at the sunrise, playing games, eating breakfast, and watching the dolphins. Kids loved the pool which was larger than it looked in the pics. Condo was clean and furnished with everything we needed - we very much appreciated being able to use beach towels, sand toys, beach chairs and cooler. We were only minutes from Johns Pass and St. Pete beach, and about 40 minutes from Pier 60 in Clearwater, so we were able to explore a lot of the area without much trouble. Melissa was very responsive when we realized the previous guests had not left the parking passes. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect location!

My family and I loved this location. Not only could we look out on the channel, we could also walk to the beach, which was just across the street. With the Publix next door, it was easy to pop in and grab what we needed, then walk back to the unit. The condo itself had everything! There were beach chairs, an umbrella, sand toys, and even fishing equipment. Everything was super clean and well-stocked. The Palms was family-friendly for sure. We would definitely go back!

We spent two weeks at this property at the Palms and loved every minute of it.

The location is perfect. Across the street from a beautiful beach right next door to a Publix market and walking distance to many area restaurants and shops. It's also very convenient driving distance to St Pete Beach or to the to the beaches north of Treasure Island. We felt the area was safe convenient and beautiful. The owner, Melissa, has given the unit a lovely coastal living vibe. It is comfortable and Tastefully decorated.. she is a very professional , experienced and responsive host. We would go back in a heartbeat and have every intention of doing so.

We enjoyed our stay and liked this corner unit. It was close to many things so we could walk.

It was our first stay in this area and we will probably return in the future. We liked the convenience. The unit was well equipped with what we needed. As mentioned in other reviews, the couch was not very comfortable but we understand why you have that material.

Excellent experience!

The property is indeed spacious and perfectly located with a fabulous view on the bay. It is close to the grocery store and a stone's throw from the beach. If you intend on cooking, everything that you might need is available to you in the kitchen complete with a modern stove and a big fridge. It really was a home away from home for us! The only thing I may change would be the fabric that covers the couch. I suppose it is water resistant which makes sense in the island climate, but this makes it slippery to sit on. This is a minor detail, though!

Owner's Response: So happy you enjoyed your stay. Yes, the sofa material is necessary & designed to hold up to the wet bathing suits, constant use and for easy clean up for any "oops" moments that might occur during our guest's stay. A bit more slippery perhaps but much easier than replacing a sleep sofa frequently. ;) We find that placing a towel under the cushion keeps them in place :) We hope to welcome you back again soon!

Location

Car: not necessary

You are in the heart of all that Treasure Island has to offer. Publix grocery store is just next door, Ricky T's & Sloppy Joe's (as well as numerous other choices to grab a nice adult beverage) are just down the street. There is no need to get in your car and drive, your own 2 feet will get you everywhere you want to go. Or hop on the free trolley and journey to St John's Pass- just a couple miles down the road.
