Excellent property in beautiful location
The property in Sulmona is very nicely furnished and equipped, and is situated in a quiet and pretty street close to the centre of town. There are several good restaurants and shops nearby, and the surrounding countryside is quite stunning. The host, Victor, is very knowledgeable about the area and will be able to provide all the information you might need for your holiday.
Thank you very much.
See you again.
This luxurious rental is perfect. It is in the center of gorgeous, conveniently located, and friendly Sulmona. It is within walking distance to anything you would want (Hostaria dell Arco and Clemente were some particular favorites). It is child friendly and has cable tv and wifi if you are looking to relax at home. Parking can be difficult in historical centers but this apartment is at a stone's throw from a safe parking lot outside the old city walls.
Our host Victor is gracious and knowledgeable about the area. He is available and flexible. We arrived at an ungodly hour in the middle of the night and he woke up to help us with everything.
All of my family loved this spot and can't wait to come back.
Abruzzo, Sulmona, 1st floor apt were all 5 stars. Victor was very helpful and shared his passion for the area and the local people even though he is not native to the area. Saw 2 other tourists in 5 days. Victor invited the four of us for an aperitif on his roof top deck. Amazing views.
We were driving a 7 passenger van so there are stories to be told of driving adventures in an old city and on small country roads. But that is all part of being in an astounding area. Of course we will be back to Abruzzo and hope to have to privilege of staying in one of Victor's apartments.
