Plenty of room, well stocked with all he necessary cooking supplies, great view, easy check in, lots of beach toys, can sleep over 6 if you are ok with the floor, but there is plenty of floor space. Only 1 wall a.c. unit in 1 bedroom so 95 degree days in the summer are rough but doable. The property manager was quite rude several times which is where the 1 star comes from. Older guy with an attitude. Even yelled from the golf course at us not to hang towels on the railing- we knew better but he put on the show of a 2 year old that wanted his candy. Anyways, would absolutely stay again and highly recommend.
The unit was big enough for 5 adults and was fully equipped except for the A/C. I think this is must because it was hot and humid in the condo. The fans didn't do the job. The site is perfect and close of everything. Great view on the golf course and the ocean.
Great updated condo in a very quiet area!
The property was clean and updated very nicely. The location was great, and my kids loved the pools. Great views of the golf course and the ocean. Lots of space for everyone to relax and have their own space. Really appreciated all the extra beach chairs, toys, etc. Enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you!
What an amazing condo to call out home base for 10 days on the big island. The space was perfect for us (2 adults and 1 child) and could have easily housed another couple and/or more kids. Kitchen is fully stocked and modern, beds super comfortable, everything in tip top shape. The condo comes with the little extras that are such a huge help for a vacation: pool floates, beach towels, cooler bag, chairs, etc. The lanai is huge and the view is even better than the photos! We enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon drinks out there every day and even saw whales breach! Golf course was quiet, mostly seems to be used on weekends and offers entertainment during the mornings on the lanai. 2 easy sets of stairs to get into the unit, easy to manage even with bags and beach gear. Nice breeze through the unit keeps it comfortable even when quite hot and humid outside. Condo is right on the main strip (Alli Dr), but on the quiet end - no road noise and great parking + easy access to both North and South of the island. Right near a great grocery store for your food and liquor, which is next to gas station. Great value here, would definitely stay again!
Great location, views, complex
Stayed one week in this top floor unit overlooking the golf course and Keauhou bay. Beautiful sunsets and ocean breezes in the evening and mountain breezes in the morning. Well appointed unit with great kitchen, living space and lanai. Great amenities including 3 pools and 2 tennis courts. Easy walk to Keauhou Shopping Center.
Great Kona Getaway
It happened, we struck the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation. This loft unit is the perfect launching spot for a Big Island escape. Seriously, it was perfect. An instant tradition in our family (I hope!) This rental is a tremendous deal. It met all our requirements and then exceeded our expectations. The high ceilings and spacious layout were perfect for our romantic evenings watching the glowing sunsets as well as for the times the extended family converged at our spot for an afternoon of tennis, swimming and sunset barbeque on the huge balcony. We could have lounged entire days on the lanai alone, soaking up the serene landscape - truly an idyllic setting. The second story mezzanine was perfect for the kids and their family sleepovers. The condo was clean, well maintained, comfortable from the second we walked in. The fully stocked kitchen made it simple to prepare our meals or host family gatherings. At night, a cool breeze comes rolling down the mountain, through the apartment and toward the coast making AC unnecessary and keeping the temperature ideal for sleeping with open windows and the sounds of nature. The pool, hot tub, and tennis courts were well maintained and made for a great, easy hang out spots for grown ups and kids alike. We’ve travelled a lot, mostly using AirBnb, and were thrilled to find a place this nice for such a great price!
We rented a car for full exploration of the island, yet we found most of the things we wanted to do within a coupe of miles! The short walk down to the ---- bay was our go-to spot for a quick dip or for Sheraton’s happy hour. This area is also where the manta ray night swims happen which was definitely a highlight of our trip! (If this sounds like something you’re interested in, the folks at Anelakai Adventures took us on an awesome night snorkel in their traditional paddle boats.) There are also really good snorkeling and surf spots right down the road from the loft. Kahalu’u Park, the nearest break is the primary beach in Kona for surf lessons and on the beach board rentals. Apparently there is always a steady beginner break. A bit farther out is a great left frequented by intermediate and advanced surfers. (The outside waves are way bigger than they look from shore!) The south end of this beach is a semi-protected lagoon, so it is also one of the more popular destinations for beginner snorkeling adventures. Within five minutes we had a sea turtle swimming along side
