Attractive, well-maintained complex, within walking distance of many facilities

Las Floritas is a quiet complex ideal for families and couples. Our 2 bedroom apartment is finished to a high standard and is very comfortably furnished for 4 people. The living area includes a 5 setter corner sofa in leather, TV, DVD player, CD player and dining table & 4 chairs. The modern fitted kitchen has all you need including oven and full ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster & marble breakfast bar with stools. The bathroom is fully tiled & comprises bath with shower over, sink, WC & bidet. The 2 bedrooms both have fully fitted wardrobes with plenty of hanging & shelf space, ceiling fans, one room has a double bed & the other has 2 singles. In the apartment there is also a safe, an iron & ironing board . The west facing balcony, which overlooks the pool, has views of the sea & La Gomera & has a sturdy table & 4 chairs and a large awning, great for al fresco dining!.

Fantastic holiday

Had a fantastic holiday very pleased with the apartment. Beds very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, sofa fantastic. Balcony great sun for the best part of the day as we didn't get up too early. We did really miss having wifi but enjoyed the radio provided. Lots of wardrobe space. Only downside was that we struggled to get our luggage up to the appartment. But overall we had a great stay in this appartment. Will be in touch soon to book for next year.

Lovely apartment in a nice complex

Being on the fourth floor had advantages as well as disadvantages. the view was great and privacy good. the apartment was lovely, the down side was the climb to get there and the road noise but after a few nights I got used to it.I felt the apartment could do with a wee bit TLC. Nothing major, just spruced up. Lots of nice restaurants and bars close by, and a small supermarket on the complex. Large supermarket not far away. All in all a great holiday---thanks Derek for the use of your apartment.

Quite comfortable but needs a few things updating

We enjoyed our stay but the apartment needs some maintenance work i.e.

Ceiling light in room only had 1 bulb in which was not working when we arrived also ceiling light in bathroom was not working and air vent in bathroom catch was missing so it kept blowing down with the wind which was dangerous if you were having a shower it could have hit you on the head also the toilet roll holder was broken contacted cleaner and these are now fixed but they should have been done before we arrived. The shelves on the fridge door (inside) were all missing apart from 1 and we were told that they could not replace them as they were not available to buy which I find hard to believe.

The apartment details were correct and it was helpful to know that there was no elevator.

The location of the property was as described as was the layout. The property was reasonably maintained and clean, with a few things being overlooked, such as spent lightbulbs, a bedroom curtain hanging loose off its runner, and refuse on the veranda.

The owner of the property was helpful and quickly responded to our initial queries regarding directions from the airport.

Las Floritas is in a very central position being within an easy walk from the beach and close to a wide variety of bars & restaurants catering for all tastes. The nearby fishing harbour of Los Cristianos is a pleasant walk along the front with plenty of cafes, etc to stop and people watch along the way. There are many excursions available including a trip to El Teide, Tenerife's volcano, or the neighbouring island of La Gomera. The front of Las Floritas overlooks the Las Americas golf course with a picturesque view of the mountains behind. Taxi charges here are among the cheapest in Europe but should you wish to hire a car we are very fortunate that opposite the complex there is a large, free car park which always has spaces. Alternatively if you fancy seeing the island by public transport we are not far from the bus station and for great shopping a trip to the capital of Santa Cruz is a good day out.
