Kent cyclists enjoying Yorkshire
Can't fault the stay whatsoever. Property was clean and tidy, facilities were spot on, location was great for walking, cycling or just relaxing. Would throughly recommended this accommodation and would / will happily return in the future.
Thank you to the owners,
We all enjoyed our stay here
You can see pretty much everything you need to know about this cottage very accurately from the pictures and the information available on the website and from reviews. Here are just a couple of points which we wondered about in advance and may be useful to know.
Yes, we had to take our own towels, but there was a hand towel provided in each bathroom and a couple of small towels in the kitchen. I took a further tea towel which was useful. There was a dishwashing sponge and washing up liquid provided which was obviously useful. There were a few condiments provided in the kitchen.
It might be useful to know that one of the two bathrooms is downstairs, and the upstairs bathroom is en suite and therefore access is through one of the bedrooms.
The owners have obviously tried hard to make this a practical as well as pleasant cottage to stay in. We really enjoyed our stay here in Bewerley/Pateley Bridge.
We found a very friendly welcome in the Royal Oak pub at the end of the lane and would thoroughly recommend this as your 'local' while staying here! (we did try the Crown too, but preferred the atmosphere and welcome at the Royal Oak!)
We are very pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay at our cottage and hope to welcome you back in the future.

Beautiful, cosy, clean and tidy. Perfect for family getaway.
We, a family of 6, have just returned from a lovely weekend in this cottage. The cottage is surprisingly spacious inside. It is in a lovely location, a 5 minute walk from the centre of Pateley Bridge. The views from the garden over the fields are gorgeous. The bedding was pretty, fresh and clean. It was lovely to sit in front of the log burner in the evening - logs were provided in a basket next to the fireplace. The showers were powerful and hot. Everything you could possibly need was in the kitchen and the dining area, although small, was cosy and didn't feel too enclosed because there are windows all the way round. Getting in and out of the property at the beginning and end of the stay using the keybox was easy. Parking on the road wasn't too difficult. We didn't need to call on the owners during our stay as everything worked and was on hand. We would definitely stay here again.
Thank you for your lovely review. We very much appreciate your kind comments. We hope that we can welcome you back in the future.

Very attractive, traditional cottage, equipped well and in a fantastic location.
We had a very nice time, the cottage is very well located for great walks just out of the front door. Food supplies were easy as there are good, interesting local shops and the cottage was very comfortable - perfect for 4 of us.
We are completely rejuvenated after just a couple of days in glorious fresh air - thank you for having us.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are always pleased to hear that our guests have enjoyed their stay.
A hidden Gem
The house and surrounds were just perfect for a girls weekend getaway to go to the Dickensian Christmas festival. The cottage was well equipped and beautifully furnished, being very comfortable for the 4 of us the first night but a little tighter squeeze for 5 of us on the second night but still tremendously enjoyed by all. Set in a lovely location for us to visit other nearby natural attractions. The cottage was difficult to find after dark but worth the search.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are always delighted to hear that our guests have enjoyed their stay. We hope to welcome you back in the future.

The cottage was lovely. It was clean and homely. The bedrooms looked to be newly furnished. There were 4 of us and we found it to be quite spacious apart from the dining room where it was a bit of a squeeze to get our knees under the table. The photos give a good idea of what to expect.. There is a lovely little garden you could dine in. There is an access path for the neighbours separating it from the house though so it isn't private but the neighbours were very friendly.
The villages of Bewerley and Pately Bridge were lovely. The villages residents are excellent gardeners and there were flowers in bloom everywhere (August). It was only a couple of minutes walk down the hill to the well stocked garage shop (very reasonably priced) and the bakers (lovely but a bit more expensive).
We took bikes and found some less hilly routes (there were plenty of challenging ones). There were lovely walks including the Nidderdale Way. We found the Prosperous and Providence Lead Mine which was very interesting and there are also industrial remains near Greenhow. Coldstones Quarry can be viewed from the new art work. Very interesting and an excellent view of the surrounding countryside.
We all enjoyed it and would love to return.
Dear valued guests,
Thank you so much for you lovely review, your comments are much appreciated.
The path separating the back yard and garden only tends to be used by one person so tends not to be a problem to our guests.
We hope to welcome you back in the future,
