The Gardener's House is pleasantly situated on a farm where the owners grow fruit trees (mango, avocado, almond ...). Far from mass tourism, you find peace and relaxation in a setting of exceptional beauty. The nearest beach is 3 km, the airport, railway station and motorway are nearby. The 2 air-conditioned rooms offer space to 5 people, as the dining room, equipped with more than a highchair. In the kitchen and the bathroom, you will find what you need for your holiday. Towels and linens are provided. You can park your car in the parking lot. Relax in the flower garden of this charming house. Take your breakfast on the terrace or have a barbecue there. A nice little staircase leads to the private pool. Athletes also enjoy the private tennis court. If you are traveling with your family, your children can have fun on the slides and swings.

  • The bathroom has a not small shower, sink and toilet, all in white porcelain. It also has a mirror with two lights and a 220-volt outlet to one side, side table with 3 levels to place belongings. The small window overlooking the rear of the house has an insect mesh.

They also air conditioning system for the winter and summer. The first bedroom has a double bed 135 cm. The second bedroom has a bunk bed (1 person 90 cm.) With a barrier and a double sofa bed below (2 people 135 cm.) We can provide it to bed as another barrier. But there is no possibility of a cot.

This villa truly exceeded our expectations. Beautiful views and surrounded by nature's finest. extremely clean and very well equipped villa. The hosts of the villa were all very helpful with their recommendations, and above all made us feel very welcome.

A good place for relaxing and enjoying

We spent a week in this house in March, a short but intense holiday. A clean and comfortable house with a nice terrace and garden where we used to spend most of our time: we had breakfast and lunch under the tropical fruit trees!! It is a very quiet place, and we really enjoyed our “siestas” lying on loungers under the Andalusian sun. It is very easy to go to the beaches and downtown Malaga is close. There are lots to see and do in Malaga and surroundings. Malaga is a nice city, Frigiliana, Nerja, el Torcal, all very nice to see.

Juan Carlos and Matilde are very welcoming and friendly people. I would recommend this place to everyone!!

Cosy wee cottage on the edge of Malaga

Gardener's Cottage is just as it appears on the website, a small, well-appointed, two-bedroom cottage in its own garden grounds that are full of sub-tropical plants. The owners live in the nearby farm-house and are very helpful and friendly. Good internet access if, like me, you want or need to stay connected.

It's in the country but on the edge of Malaga, with a good bus service into the centre of town (route 34) if you don't want the expense of driving in and paying for parking. El Palo, five minutes by car, is the local and non-touristy shopping centre with supermarkets, shops and cafes.

Sejour chez Mathilde

We are in the countryside, in a mango farm, avocado and other fruit trees; our property is a quiet place from which nature lovers can hike through the countryside. You can relax by reading and sunning at the pool or on your patio, or in the beaches (3 kms.)

We are also 7 kms. (15 minutes) from the historical and cultural center of the city of Malaga, capital of the Costa del Sol. Those souahitent know the Spanish culture, discover our history and its reflection in the Roman monuments, Arab, Renaissance, Baroque ... our museums (Picasso, Carmen Thyssen Malaga Car Museum, and other museums), traditions and Mediterranean cuisine; you can easily visit and taste it different 'tapas' and typical dishes (churros, porra, seafood and fresh fish, paella ...), wonderful natural spaces and lovely villages.

One of the main highway Andalusia (A-7) is 2. 5 km. of the House. We can meet you, to facilitate your arrival home at Exit 245 of the A-7 motorway.

You can also easily make a round trip visiting a few places and very beautiful villages of our region as Granada (1'15 h.), Cordoba (1'30 h.), Seville (2'30 h.) Ronda (1'30 h), Nerja (0'30 h.), Frigiliana (0:30 pm.), etc. We provide you with documentation of the area and the surroundings. We can advise on the most interesting cultural and natural places to make good plans.

In our house, vacationers can choose a holiday in nature, or sharing the same holiday with gastronomic attractions, and culture of our capital. We are also very close to beautiful and interesting villages where the different peoples who have inhabited since the prehistory, being given the current Andalusian character: prehistoric caves, Arabic architecture and urban planning, fiestas Christian and all its traditions.

Almost every month, either in winter or summer, there is a city that celebrates its traditional festivals: Malaga wine, pork, olive Aloreña, the flower of almond ... and of course The August Fair in Malaga.

In late March or early April, our full Health Week centenary spring smell of incense and rosemary, colors of clothing Nazarenes, music bands accompanying processions , thrones which are marvels of art. You can see them through devotion or the sumptuous and rich silver and gold baroque relief shows the Lord's Passion. But without a doubt, for from Malaga marks the beginning of spring. For the different parts of the city are walking several processions at the same time. You can reserve seats in the official journey to the historic center of Malaga, or get them to the path of each and see them at the right time. Enjoy your stay to discover the Costa del Sol beaches and marinas. Kids will love amusement parks like Selwo Aventura theme park, Tivoli World and Crocodile Park. Several golf courses are also near the House of the Gardener.
