Casa Jazmin Carabeo is located in the former fishermen street of our village. Coming in our house you step back in time and experience the original Spanish style consisting of a labyrinth-like house with many different rooms concentrated around the inner private patio. The Jasmine blossoms will remind you that you are here to enjoy Andalucia. When you step out of the house, you are in the old part of Nerja village, a beautiful pedestrian street, experiencing the tapas bars & the locals hanging around.

The original walls of the house are on, combined with the renovation made respecting the atmosphere of the house age, around 400 year old! Fear not, the house has all modern commodities!

Fire place for winter, air conditioning in every bedroom & living room, Wi-Fi, leisure sofa on the upper big terrace, BBQ corner and views to the mountains.

The Patio offers a splash pool only for sitting in, as the old fashion cooling down.

Nerja is loved for being an authentic Andalusian town right at the sea, a very rare combination. Not like a typical tourist resort, here many locals are still living in the streets, filling them with life not only in summer, but also in winter. The majority of bars, restaurants and shops are open the whole year.

The combination of having the best climate of all continental Europe due to its extremely mild winters, together with wind-protected beaches in the famous bays of Nerja, makes this town a top destination for visitors from all over the world, 12 month a year.

East of Nerja starts the Maro-Cerro Gordo Coastal Nature Park. A stretch of coast not spoiled by 'modern' architecture, but boasting mostly pure nature. You can explore it from land by driving, biking, or hiking the old national road to reach fantastic wild beaches, observe the many ibex that move to the green valleys, and discover the plenty of orchid species growing here. Or you explore it from the sea by renting a kayak in Nerja and paddle along grottos, a waterfall, and spectacular cliffs.

To the back of Nerja you have the vast space of yet another mountainous national park – the Sierra de Almijara. It is a perfect place for hiking tours, river and canyon walks or mountain biking.

Inland and easy to reach by car or bus there are small mountain villages, many dating from the Moorish period and over a thousand years old. Our neighbour village of Frigliana, just 7 km away, is listed as one of the most beautiful villages of all Spain. Definitely worth a visit, and easily reached by a local bus.

Cycling becomes also more and more popular in the area due to excellent streets along the coasts and into the mountains. There is also the possibility to rent bicycles from the leisure user to the professional cyclist, both mountain and street bikes.
