A well equipped Apartment with access to shared pools and close to a beach

On a privately owned Greek styled small estate this air conditioned two bedroom Apartment is a real home form home. Sleeping 4 but could sleep up to 6 this Apartment has most household electrical appliances. We have a garden and parking at the front and at the back a big balcony with 4 sun lounger overlooking the sea and coast line of Paphos. The Self-catering Apartment is with in 5 Min's walk to Tavernas and a food takeaway on a very good bus route. Paphos Harbor, Paphos old town,Coral bay &3 local Golf Course are all 15 to 20mins drive away. Taxi's to and from the Airport to the Apartment can be arranged also a car hire on the site. We also provide a small food pack on arrival & free wi-fi .Only 5 minutes walk to the newly open 5 Star King Evelthon Hotel which has a water park open to the public Adults 15 euros children 12 & under 7.5 euros.

Could it be better? I do not think so...

This is a place with a spirit. The spirit of its owners, whom I do not know personally, but I hope to know one day.

If you plan to visit Cyprus, and have a flight to Paphos airport, call Pam & Derek, book your flight and just go!

They will make Marios to take you safe and comfy straight to the hill, than you will relax on a big terrace with stunning view to the see and Kato Paphos downtown.

Pictures of the place tell whole story, to find the mood, you must go there and try.

If I ever go to Paphos again, I will not look for another place, for sure.

Couple of hints for new commers:

Do not forget to visit modest slow food kleftiko seller just next too the Village - you will se him from the pool, early morning when he sets the fire in the clay oven. You will pay 10 euro for the plate you will finish with much effort, in the end killed by fantastic tiny doughnuts.

If you look for a sandy beach - The Sandy Beach itself is two bus stops away. Small and quiet, unlike Coral Beach, noisy and crowded.

If you cook yourself, go towards Coral Beach and visit big local supermarket, just next to Coral Beach cross roads.

A great holiday in Paphos

We had a great stay here (family with two boys, 5 and 9 years). Very relaxing. Despite being near a big tourist area (the strip between Paphos and Coral Bay), the apartment is on a hill side, so therefore away from (above) it all. This gives nice quiet evenings and fantastic views from the balcony.

We flew to Larnaca airport and drove across to Paphos (1h40mins). The flights were cheaper for us and the money saved paid for the car rental. With a car you can cover a lot in day trips using this apartment as a base. Other days we just hung out at "home" and spent time at the pool.

Pam (the owner) runs the rental really efficiently, answering any questions and queries straight away. So you are in safe hands and there is no need to stress. The description of the property on the website fits with what is there. It is well equipped. There is even some beach toys/masks etc left behind by others which saves you investing in it all.

As good as always if not better!!

We have stayed here probably about 30 times now and never tire of the view and the comfort this place provides.Looking forward to two more visits later in the year.

Pam and Derek make everything so easy pick up from airport,welcome pack in apartment.Any problems you cant sort ring Pam and she will fix from the UK leaving you to carry on relaxing with a cold one or two!!

The location is quiet and relaxing but only a couple of hundred yards from a bus stop which can take you as far as Coral Bay or the other side of Paphos the Waterpark.A return ticket costs only 2 euros and can be used all day on as many buses as you like on the route!

We stayed here in 06 AUG.until 13 AUG. Apt has great location, right beside the sea with brilliant views...sit on the balcony and watch the sunset each evening..so relaxing. Apt was lovely, very well equipped, TV, DVD,plenty of books, Air Con.The owners also provided lots of information of places to visits, restaurants etc. VERY CLEAN APT. we would definitely stay here again...Would not hesitate to recommend this lovely apt - you will enjoy!

Great experience

Loved this apartment - a real home from home experience. The swimming pool is wonderful as are the views. Great if you have a car, but if not, a good bus service is close by.

I should mention the accommodation is near the top of a hill and therefore I would not recommend this for the elderly. This apart, I highly recommend the accommodation and its position.

Our week in Paphos

We have just had a fantastic time at this apartment. The complex and apartment is very well maintained, everyone we came across was very friendly and helpful . Pam was a great help with giving extra info we required and booking taxis for us. Our 10 year old spent all day in the pool! The apartment had everything we needed, very well equipped with fantastic views of the sea/sunsets. We found Paphos the best place for supermarkets and restuarants, it is a bus ride away but a 2 euro ticket can be used all day as many times as you like (just ask for a return.) Children are free on the buses. We will be going back soon. Next time I would take some games along.

All the self catering Apartments on Ikaria Village are privately owned it is a small Greek styled estate which is well maintained, There are three shared pools & a flood lite tennis court. Our Apartment is within 3-5mins walk to a very good bus route, two Tavernas also a food take away store. The Tombs of Kings World Heritage Site is only 10 minutes walk. Paphos with it's Beach, Harbour, Castle, Mosacs, Shops & Tavernas would be a 20 mins walk or 10 mins drive. The Paphos area has loads of sightseeing The Troodos Mountains, Akamas Peninsula, a Turtle Hatchery at Lara Bay, a Bird & Animal Park, Baths of Aphrodite, Aphrodite's Birth place and many Churches & Monasteries.Secret Valley & Aphrodite Hills Golf Club's are 15 min drive away Tsada Golf course is 20 mins drive.5 mins walk to a 5*Hotel with it's own Water Park & Infant area.

Other Activities: Paphos Water Park. Go Karting.Golf

The Kitchen has a breve toaster, ordinary toaster, food mixer, juicer, coffee peculator,slow cooker,4 ringed cooker,kettle,fridge freezer & microwave.
