This immaculate modern luxury second floor apartment is located in a peaceful location close to all the amenities and marina of the sophisticated and stylish resort of Vilamoura. The Millennium and Laguna golf clubhouse are just a 5 min walk for a round of golf, drinks or a leisurely lunch.

The air-conditioned apartment is fully equipped, beautifully furnished and has a light and spacious feel with private remote controlled underground parking. Free dedicated and fast WIFI internet is available to the apartment. There is also cable TV with more than 200 national and international channels (MEO provider).

The top floor apartment is located in a delightful small & friendly closed condominium with shared swimming pool and small children's pool, which is rarely overcrowded. The well-maintained gardens are fully enclosed with one access point making it very secure and ideal for children.

Area details: The Algarve is popular for its numerous and high quality golf courses and has been welcoming golf enthusiasts for over three decades. It is a great opportunity to combine a round or two with cosmopolitan culture, traditional local cuisine, breath taking scenery and a great climate. Golden beaches, wonderful sunshine (in average 300 days of sunshine per year). and fantastic rugged scenery. The traditional food and particularly the seafood and grilled fish are amazing. There's a string of world-class golf courses, fabulous scuba diving and the chance to visit historic Seville in Spain too.

How to get to the apartment: Flights to Faro: Most budget airlines fly to Faro consider Liverpool & Coventry (both small easily accessible airports) Jet2 and Easyjet sky scanner - flight line - travel republic - travel supermarket car hire - economy car hire (insure extra drivers at no extra cost, fully insured & vehicle can usually be collected from the airport car park or down town Vilamoura if you prefer not to drive from the airport). Local taxis or pre -booked local transfer from Faro Airport to Vilamoura. The apartment is a 30 min easy drive from Faro Airport along the N125, to Vilamoura, full/detailed directions are provided. Car hire is recommended, however, local taxis to and from the apartment into Vilamoura are inexpensive (€5/€7) and are easily accessible, we can supply local contact telephone numbers for taxi & minibus. Bicycle hire is popular in Vilamoura and provides an ideal way to get out and about should you prefer an alternative to driving.

Other activities: Zoo Marine & Slide & Splash Water Park within 30 min drive. Great open air shopping centers both can be visited within 30 min drive - in Faro (Forum Algarve) and Guia (AlgarveShopping). Quarteira fish and vegetable market is within a 10 min drive. Early in the morning you can spot the best fresh fish and shellfish in Algarve.

Comfortable and ultra clean.

We arrived in the pouring rain and it never stopped for two weeks. We had very cosy accommodations. Very clean and spacious. Carla, the lady who looked after our needs, was more than helpful. The toaster needed to be replaced and she was there immediately with a new toaster. There was a heat pump in the living room and one of the bedrooms. That was our saving grace as the weather was not great.....very wet for two weeks. The place was very quiet. For a golfer, it was quite close to the golf courses. One definitely needs a car to stay here as it was a 10 to 15 minute drive to the nearest grocery store. We loved Portugal. It was our first visit there. People were so friendly and accommodating.

Tired - Needs lots of updates and improvements

Yes it said not suitable for disabled or aged but it should include families with small children. Carrying a pushchair and all the things required for a small child up 44 stairs from the pool level would be exhausting.

Access from the pool area to the apartment requires a key. Only one supplied.

Bed linen - mismatched, torn, large holes, pillowcases with holes and looked like cushion covers and the bed cover was stained.

Window blinds - to open roll or fold up and secure in place with cloths pegs. Some we were afraid to touch.

Kitchen equipment - it was just old, so old the toaster only did one side at a time (it was a two sided toaster. The interior of the freezer was chipped and yellow with age.

The Gas hob had to be lit with a flame from a gas lighter. The oven was so old all the indicator marks had worn off. Broken coffee machine in the cupboard and the substitute had seen better days.

Bathrooms- Sink tap in one was so loose we were afraid to use it in case it came off in our hands. In the other bathroom the light over the mirror was held in place by the wire connection- we found this out when we tried to adjust the angle of it.

The TV worked occasionally - continually loosing signal and having to reboot. Sometimes the TV control box would not turn off. Pull the plug wait 24 hors and sometimes it worked again.

Contacted Fillipe, did he respond, yes three days and two text messages later. Did he fix the problems. No.

I've given it 1 star but if 0 stars was available tat would be the score - would I recommend it to others - not on your life.

Vilamoura is a great place to have a holiday, just not based here.

Excellent apartment in a great location

My wife and I stayed at Filipe's apartment for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our time there. Very spacious clean and well equipped ( like home from home ). Nice and quiet in a excellent location.Would highly recommend and stay there again.

Férias 2015 - Monte Laguna - Millenium Vilamoura

Uma semana muito bem passada. Apartamento muito agradável, limpo, bem equipado e com todas as comodidades necessárias para umas boas férias em família. Zona muito calma, boa para descansar. Zona da piscina bem tratada. Voltaremos, com certeza. Recomendo.

A week very well passed. Very nice apartment, clean, well equipped and with all the amenities necessary for a good family holiday. Very quiet area, good for rest. Pool and pool area well maintained and clean. We'll come back for sure. I recommend.

Vilamoura has it all: excellent sports facilities, a long sandy beach, dining, shopping and certain sophistication, too. Specially built to appeal to the holiday-maker, its centre piece is a magnificent marina, complete with a buzzing water front of chic cafés, bars, boutiques and restaurants. There are two main beaches Marina and Falésia. Both have lovely golden sands but the later has better facilities, including snack bars, sunbeds and sun umbrellas. The night-life is lively, cosmopolitan and varied gathering around a good selection of places to eat and drink complimented by a casino. The marina has plenty of shops including some fashionable clothes boutiques and there are plenty of opportunities for souvenir and handicraft shopping. Vilamoura can offer an enviable range of facilities from water sports and fishing to perhaps, most famously, golf. Our apartment is perfectly located for golfers and families: just opposite to the Millennium golf course and 5 minutes by car from the beach and marina.
