Overview

About the property

Lakefront large family Lodge with private pier and yard, boat included.

Located on Dam Lake one of the 5 lakes on the Sugar Camp Chain 12 minutes from Eagle River, Wisconsin. We invite you to enjoy the breathtaking, unobstructed view of Pike Bay. The Lodge is on a grassy slope leading right to the shore of the lake. The chain consists of 2,300 acres of water for your enjoyment. The chain is known for its abundant Musky, Walleye, Small and Large Mouth Bass and huge assortment of pan fish, which you can catch right off the end of the pier! The Lodge was the homestead of the original owners of the Historic Pike Bay Resort. No longer a resort, the lodge has been thoroughly modernized while maintaining its original "north woods charm". The large living room is knotty pine harvested from the surrounding woods. The fireplace was handmade from multi colored river rock, handpicked from the bottom of the lake years ago. The two large picture windows on each side of the fireplace face south giving you an outstanding view of the lake. Central air conditioning makes your break from playing in the sun enjoyable. The 3 bedrooms of the Lodge include: a bright master bedroom featuring a queen size bed, dresser, desk, night stands and 2 closets. Attached is a full bath with a Jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. The second bedroom is lakeside and sleeps 3. There is a bunk bed with a full mattress on the bottom and a single on top. The 3rd bedroom can sleep 6. It has 2 of the same type of bunk beds. The second full size bathroom has a tub and shower and can be accessed from this bedroom or the kitchen. The modern large kitchen has all full size appliances including a dishwasher, large double sink, full size range with oven and micro. All dishes pots, pans, glasses, utensils and coffee maker are furnished. For your convenience there is a washer and dryer in a separate laundry room directly off the kitchen for your private use.

Our guests can enjoy the Weber grill, fire pit, picnic table and a 14 ft aluminum boat, wi-fi and direct t.v.. Weekly rentals run from Sat. to Sat. Check in is at 3 pm and check out is at 9 am promptly so care may be taken to clean for our next guests. A deposit of half the weekly rent is due at your reservation time and the balance at check-in. In the event of a cancellation, deposits will be fully refunded, provided we are able to re-rent the Lodge for that week. Our rent is $1995 per week high (June 10th through Sept 2nd) season and $950 low. Weekly rent up to 5 people. $100 per person extra over 5. We also other rentals available close by for larger families.

The Lodge is adjacent to our newest rental "The Grand View at Pike Bay" and I also have other rentals on this chain and with in walking distance. Deposit is 100% refundable if we re-book your week .We do consider pets ($150) pet fee per prior approval. I live just down the road if you need anything during your stay.

About Jenneane Becker

My husband and I fell in love with this beautiful chain of lakes back in the 80's. We purchased our cottage "The Pinewood at Pike Bay" in the 90's. Shortly after we moved up to this wonderful area. Come join us here and let the stress melt away

Jenneane Becker purchased this lodge in 2007

What makes this lodge unique

Our living room is very large for family gatherings. The historic fireplace is in the middle of 2 large windows that overlook the lake. We just added a large u shaped dock for addition boats or your pontoon boat. The knotty pine interior is very warm and inviting. Direct t.v. and internet included.

Larger than it looks peaceful bay

  • 5 of 5

So much room for our large family. Very clean and decorated wonderfully. What a great time we had, go carting horseback riding golfing kayaking down the river just down the road from the Lodge. Swimming at the place was awesome and had fun going out to The sandbar. Had fun with other families there. Got food to go find Pitlicks to eat on the pontoon. We had 2 other fishing boats plenty of room on the dock for all.The kids lived in the water and the boys could not stop fishing. We will be back next year. Jenneane was a great hostess and gave us lots of tips (fish, eat, fun things to do)

Beautiful stay loved the views

  • 5 of 5

Our early spring stay was wonderful. The Lodge is much larger inside than it looks from the pictures. The views from the living room are awesome. Across the bay there are no buildings of any kind, so it very pristine. Loved the jetted tub on cold nights, then we went to enjoy the fire in the fireplace.

The kitchen was fully stocked with every cooking utensil we needed, including a crock pot and griddle! The owner said if it was there she could get it for us. She lives nearby so we felt comforted if something went wrong she could help us out.

The chain of lakes is very pretty, and the pier is huge (next time we will rent a pontoon).

We will definitely be back!!
