Sitting in the grounds of The Smithy, The Forge is a delightful former blacksmith’s cottage dating back to the 18th century. This accommodation is Dog-friendly with it's own small private garden to the front and rear and parking for 3 cars.
You enter the property via a lovely entrance porch straight into a beamed living room with comfy seating and a fabulous wood burning stove for which fuel is provided free.. To the left is a dining area with a table and chairs that leads to the farmhouse style fully fitted kitchen with the added bonus of a washing machine and dishwasher. Also on the ground floor is a large Twin Bedroom and a family bathroom with bath and shower.
There is a quaint spiral staircase in the living area that leads up to a cosy gallery first floor bedroom with velox windows, a beautiful Victorian Antique double bed and private bathroom.
To help you get the best from your visit we provide local walking books and information to help you explore the surrounding area, which includes the spectacular Malvern Hills. The Three Counties Showground is just 5 minutes away and there is also easy access to the victorian town of Malvern itself, Upton on Severn by the river Severn, Eastnor Castle, Ledbury, Tewkesbury and the City of Worcester.
The village of Hanley Swan is a short walk away and offers a friendly village shop, butcher and The Swan Country Inn that offers a great atmosphere for a quiet drink or to enjoy a delicious lunch or evening meal.
There is plenty to do locally from local festivals held throughout the summer in Upton Upon Severn, to all kinds of events at the three counties show ground.
